Outstanding Vocal Performance
Wow! What a great voice, and great performance of this song. I am not familiar with the original version, so this did not come off to me like it was a cover. The confidence and expression in the vocals is so stellar I would have thought it was her own song. The production of the song highlights the vocal as it should - and the harmonies are a perfect blend. The mix is tasteful with the guitars and drums contained lower in the mix but present enough to keep the song in order - but make no mistake, this is a vocal performance... and in incredible one at that. I hope to to hear some original music from Rebecca Boux to see what lyrical and musical ideas are behind this voice.

Top of the Game, Awesome voice and sound should go to radio
Really impressed with your music Rebecca! Your sound is total mainstream and it begs the question "Why is this artist not on the mainstream radio?" Rebecca Boux your voice is pretty much the tops I have heard!

Review Of Stuck By Peter Newton
A well mastered cover from Rebecca of this great track. The performance of the vocals are 1st class and give the listener a taste of this ladies skills. The music could be a little louder for my taste but the track is solid. The whispering vocals are done well as are all the backing tracks and I look forward to hearing more music from this talented singer. Please give it a listen and visit her page. Regards, Peter

Rebecca Boux is a coiled cobra!
Rebecca Boux is a talented singer and something more. Rebecca is featured on this cover of the Stacie Orricco in a huge way. She has managed to handle the responsibility of being the lead and backup singer on her own song. Efforts like these are usually attempted by likes of L. Kravitz or Stevie Wonder and even those heavy hitters didn't always pull it off. On "Stuck" Rebecca Boux does pull "it" off. You way be asking yourself, what was the "something more" mentioned at the begining of this review. Rebecca Boux is a coiled cobra ready to strike at your most tender of insecurities. Her vennom, however, kills those feelings and leaves you wanting more good vibes, and more Rebecca Boux. Stevan Robinson Musician. Mystic. Man. Iowa, United States of Amerika!

Stuck
Wow, there is great talent all over the globe. I really enjoyed this song. The harmonies and double tracking of the vocals worked like a dream. The voice timbre and pitch were on the button, as was the breath control - really well done. The guitar playing in the background was nice and subtle, and drove the song in a good way, without overdoing anything. The drum and bass pattern were a little bit ''out of the box'' in a stocatto style, but, this works well in this song. I'm a lover of all types of bass playing, soo, I enjoyed the style of play - very well done to you Rebecca, an excellent song.

STUCK
USUALLY I'M NOT A BIG FAN OF COVER VERSIONS.REBECCA TAKES THIS TRACK AND MAKES IT HER OWN.GOOD VOCAL STYLE THAT CAN ONLY IMPROVE AS SHE DEVELOPS HER OWN MUSICAL STYLE.GREAT HARMONIES WOULD BE EVEN GREATER WITH A HIGHER MIXED MUSICAL BACKGROUND.

Cover vs. original songs
Hi Rebecca, I ran into a cover song (Stuck) you've recorded in a list of review requests and after listening I visited your homepage to check out whatelse you had in store. I got to say you have a great voice and the songs you write are excellent. I'm not much of a reviewer, but when I finally hear something good on N1M I feel like paying my respects to what I hear. With regards to this cover you did a nice job, but I think you should stick to your own songs or any other original material. You're good and getting better at what you create yourself or with other songwriters. So keep on writing, recording and performing your songs. All the best, Nash

Excellent modern sounding pop/rock Beyonce style - amazing vocals
Strong vocals right from the start. Where you layer up those vocals with harmonies, I would suggest mix those vocals down, they are a bit overwhelming to the mix. Good song, strong everything, great pop rock sound. Beyonce style, I am really like your voice. Turn up the guitars. I would suggest you find someone really good to help you mix this song, the mix is all over the place, and then you need to master it really well. You have talent, but you need development. Your song writing is good, but less is more, as a general rule of thumb - but overall i'm impressed, you are onto something, your vocals and song writing is are strong - which is a huge plus - you need some neatening up around the edges with your production.... it's a little messy in some places, and in other places it's perfect. Good luck to you!

Why are you covering any song?
I'll tell you Rebecca you have no business doing anybody's songs at this point. Find a songwriter and you do your own songs because otherwise you will be spinning your heels for literally years. You are a superstar PERIOD I'm not guessing at that It's what I know. I've been around for many years and know the real deal when I hear it. You honey need to find the right representation whether in Canada or in The Great Demon America~ WJU

Exceptional Voice
Great voice and vocal control in presenting this song. I liked the creative ideas in the mixing process such as separating the vocal parts in the left/right spectrum. The whisper parts were very effective in this song as well. The vocals stood out in this mix as very exceptional and the vocalist is a natural at it and harmony parts. The rest of the mix was a little lost perhaps because the vocals were so dominating. Near the end of the song the snare gets snappier and more pronounced and that helped. The outro instrumentation was more up front where it should be and well done for a nice ending. Overall a really exceptional singer and presentation!

Nice voice
Your voice is really clear and precise, I like the way you perform this cover. At the same time it is in a similar way as the original but you added a kind o f personal touch, with your beautiful voice that I really like. Your voice sounds like a very experienced one and even bette than the voices of many professionals I know. Keep on working the way you do and you will find success!

Top 40 style
This is definately TOP 40. I'm a Retro British American Pop Artist so I don't write to this genre but I get it. The main thing as a producer I would do is to clean the mix, the overall content is good, the over all design of the song, breaks, effects is very good. When it goes into the distorted guitar, that section needs some mix work, the rest is pretty much on track. Good double voice work. So once again, I'd focus on remixing the I hate you I love you part with the stronger guitar and make sure the mix is blended better. Otherwise, you've nailed the genre and this is a very clean song, very well done with a good vocalist!

Nice!!!
This is a great cover, very nice voice! The arrangements over all are alright, I think on the production side it could be a little better mastered but there are good solid ideas on the instrumental. I would encourage the artist to keep on going, 'cause for sure there's something there, although I feel that she shines more when doing her own writing. Best of luck to you Peace

Nice sound!
I was surprized with this cover. I didnt mind it at all! Ive never heard the original but this makes me want to hear more. The vocalist had a beautiful voice but the recording doesnt do her justice. Theres a few spots it misses the tempo but overall a good job

Love it
I always enjoy Rebecca's vocals and this track definitely brings those wonderful vocals to the front with some beautiful interplay harmonies that are very tight with their interaction play. I always love a song with a strong vocal and background vocals. i am sorry but i have never herd the original version but sounds to me like Rebecca nailed it and is spot on. i think Stacie Orrico would be liking this very much

Your Review
so im scrolling through my review requests and then I see your name come up and honestly im so glad I pressed play, now I believe in giving honest criticism,as for me it allows the receiver being you to take whatever you can and use it to make music that better expresses your message which in the end is the key! your rich voice really caught my attention as well as at points almost Christina aguelara like power really shnies through,i say this as when that bar needs to be raised and high notes come in for me you get them spot on,which isn't easy to do,you can definintley hold a pitch, and I think there is a lot of room to move forward and perhaps further strengthen that incredible voice :) please keep me updated with your music, and keep working hard! remember success is a waiting game,it doesn't come over night but when the right opportunity comes along youll deserve all the success that inevitably will come your way :) all the best Tom x

"Stuck" overview
Hello there! I'm surprised with your music. I'm "transported" to the earliest 80th years. Awesome interpretation and background music. I enjoyed (and seems you too). However this kind of rithm can be well compared with the "old days" jazz-rock styles, which I always appreciate. Your cover is
