This song expresses exactly what the title says it's about. The kind of tune that gets stuck in your head and repeats itself over and over. I mean that in a good way not just like some jingle you wish you could stop thinking of. I also liked that the recording wanted me to turn up the volume. I often have the opposite response. As the volume went up the elements became clearer and the simple song wasn't so simple. I'm not the kind of reviewer who gets technical about how the instruments were played or their placement in the mix etc. I just know whether or not a an artist or a song makes me want to listen or not. Rebecca made me want to listen.

Rebecca Boux presents us a catching and beautiful song that deserves to be heard worldwide. It is not complicated. Simplicity and lightness are the characteristics of this work. Certainly, it is difficult for us to forget it.

Rebecca Boux gives us an upbeat song that made me want to listen to it several times which I did and am listening to Song In My Head as I write this review. Great tempo and the arrangement is very solid. All the vocals are clean, crisp, and very well done. She has an outstanding voice, I would love to hear more of her work, I believe she has the chops as they say. Keep up the good work !!!

Now it's stuck in my head!

A very cute simple pop song that turned out extremely well. The vocals are pleasent to listen to and the double tracking enhances the thickness of the vocal in a pleasent way. The oohs and ahs from the background tracks also work to soften the artificial feel of the computer driven instruments. The instrumentation is simple but full. A good solid effort that could only get better in a real studio.

This is a beautiful song. It has an innocent and fun quality which lifts it up smoothly and nice. I would recommend not to be scared to bring the snare up a bit hotter, not for dominance but because a hotter snare actually allows the vocal to be understood better and leaves room for the vocal to come up more as well. Computer speakers don't let you hear everything, but a vocal should always cut through.. Think Fleetwood Mac or even Taylor Swift quality, at the least. Talent here has that capability to reach that with this vocal.

I really liked the mix,Lyrics were very good. All the instruments were in the right places to complement the vocal line. The subtle way the piano was weaved into the mix was brilliant. And the guitar was very well played i can't tell if the was processed or real. I think it was real but sometimes it is hard to tell. The vocal was brilliant not to much out front or to far back just right for the mix. I really enjoyed the song keep it up Dizzy

Anyway I love your voice ....

It did not have to go through tonic filters .... it's a very beautiful song with very nice verse .... the drums could become a little better job ... it was necessary to get the original riff of the piece and a chorus even after End ... not as it is now that it hurts as if it is something that you were bothered by ... and it seems you want it to finish quickly ... the musical measures of the song so in my opinion is wrong ... the bass Is almost non-existent and I generally feel and hear it's not a good professional Musical work that you deserve ... but otherwise I love your voice because it is really great ... if you can take my advice and do not make frivolous musical choices ... and especially do not agree with music jokes Of that kind ... but anyway I love your voice ... even with tonic filters ....

Clean guitar and piano that caught my attention right away. The vocalist nails the lead and the overdub voice is a pleasant accompanyment. It is an easy to listen tune and it will be" in my head" for awhile. The drumming adds a nice texture to the song without overplaying. Amazing fun tune! Congrats on your single.

Energy Energy Energy From the 1st bar we are exposed to the talent of Rebecca Boux. Her voice in so many layers gives a journey that flows seamlessly through this great track. The music is well written and overall this track is very good. I know it's a critic, but only a small one and that's the drums. I would give them a more live sound but I still enjoyed listening to the song. Worthy of your time :)

Song In My Head

Hi Rebecca, Song In My Head is a nice idea that shows what careful usage of loops can do. The production is simple and straight forward and continues to evolve and develop as the song progresses.... nice job... melody is pleasing and rememberable ...... Lyrics and somewhat problematic... first verse is strong but second verse feels to me like a throw away verse.... it doesn't develop the original idea you set forth in verse 1... perhaps a more universal approach might be an idea??? ie music (song) is the universal language, (the only one I know of)....so tying that concept in would display a stronger lyrical development.... your chorus has a nice melodic vocal riff but the softly spoken words are somewhat hard to hear on a laptop with no quality speakers attached..... snare loop could come down in the overall mix as at times it detracts from the vocal..... Hope this helps in some way... RW

I´ve got a new song in my head

I have this funny feeling, that I´ve got now a song in my head. Can´t stop hearing the new song of Rebecca´s first single. Unbelievably, but she really recorded this great music with "Garageband". This song will touch your heart and caresses your soul. She can not only play very good guitar and sing. This is a perfectly well composition with many additional instruments. But why do I tell this? Well, you might be a pop music fan, looking for the light at the end of the tunnel for good music. Believe me, this song is a radio hit and released from her upcoming new album. Listen to the song and if you like add him. Let others know your recommendation.

Song in head

You have an interesting song with all its unique background sounds. Your voice is nice to hear with the catchy melody. The only concern I have is it is a little too short of a song to be played on the radio. Consider writing another verse to make it longer. Goodluck to you. Katie

Beautiful Song

Hi Rebecca Your song is Beatiful but there is a partial review of the arrangement of the song. Good arrangement of Guitar and excellent vocal performance also the idea of dubbing the voice and also the response of beautiful choir. The Harmony chords and the Melody of the Voice are Beautiful. I would resume the drum track completely to clear the sound and put a final song that needs. Number One.

Song in my Head

Great sound and beat! Definitely makes me want to get up and move, and very catchy. The only thing constructive I have, is there are parts where the vocals are heard to make out, and I feel what's happening gets lost..(during the digital voiceovers).. but I love it, and will definitely check out more of your stuff!!

Nice music

Ok first I would like to say the music is on point, sounds great, but my issue is that the title says song? I'm looking for a song to get stuck in my head as well. A lot of nice riffs, and harmonies, but I wouldn't consider this a song, interlude maybe, I wouldn't need more content to make it a song, but as I said I'm digging this music big time, but I need more of a subject matter to make it a song

Nicely written

This is a little too short ... needs another chorus/bridge/hook but the talent here shines through .... Garageband is below your talent ... pick up a minimal version of Cubebase at cost around $50 ....it will give you much more control of the engineering and quality of the output as well as add a lot more VST etc . I promise it will produce a more studio sounding results .... having said that I have heard enough young artists here to note that this piece is easily in the top 10% so far. Keep the faith!

Song in your head

A cheerful tune with some nice fingerpicking guitar throughout the song. The chorus has a catchy humming voice, but I couldn't really make out the words sung in the background. Overall I would bring the leadvocal more up front, especially in the chorus, unless you intended that part to be secondary. So I feel you should rework the chorus to make it more stick out compared to the rest of the song.
