1980's vibe opening the doorway to a Dillon style vocal with the depth of thought expected form a lyrical poet .The chorus feels weak, not as complete a thought as the verse. Interesting figuring out the story behind the song.Trundles along with a dissonant edge .Cute synth at the end.Not my cup of tea but keep writing.

Red Bungie Band "Going Down"
Upon your very first listen to Wilmington, Delaware's Red Bungie Band and their fabulous "Going Down", you cannot help but to be deeply impressed by the musicianship, the inspired songcraft and clever production values. While the musical influences of Red Bungie Band are fairly evident, there can be no doubt about it - this band definitely has their a sound all their own. Highly recommended!

Going Down review
I'll start by saying I like the approach you are taking with this tune utilizing the keyboard as your primary instrument. But there are a few items that I feel a need to comment on in your production. The very first thing would be you are using way too many words in your lyrics to get your point across. You should go through each line and get rid of the throwout words that aren't needed and this would make it not seem like you are rushed to try and sing them all. In short, shorten some of your lines. You are trying to sing a song that has verses more in the style of a rap song. Next, I would redo all the vocals and work on hitting the notes instead of what you now have, which is all over the road at times. And finally, redo the production with a remix that you reference on several different mediums (home stereo, car stereo, phone earbuds, etc). Good luck in the future and keep on writing!

Strong Spirit, Full Heart
Going Down by Red Bungie Band is a very hypnotic and catchy rap/experimental rock tune that has some real stream of consciousness musical vibes and a good energy throughout! The singing has real originality and a good rhythmic flow. I would keep an ear out in the future to keep up with these guys.

Outch Vocals
In the pulsating fusion of rock and hip-hop beats, reminiscent of the folk tunes that painted the 60s with nostalgic hues. This musical alchemy weaves a contemporary tale where genres collide. The song, a rhythmic journey through time, carries the echoes of an era long past, channeling the free-spirited essence of folk music from the 60s. The vocals in the refrain, while attempting to soar, seem to stray into dissonant territories, creating a subtle discord. It's as if the singer, in their earnestness, has lost the pitch-perfect path. Here lies the crossroads of artistic contemplation. A troubadour, perhaps, with a voice that aligns seamlessly with the song's soul, could be engaged to traverse the refrains, transforming the slightly discordant melody into a harmonious crescendo.
