A band undoubtedly destined for greater things!! “The vocals of the two lead (they both sing on most songs, so would go as far to say this) vocalists blends sublimely so as to create texture and depth. Red Sails create a sound that tugs at your heartstrings; they have a knack of layering and building their songs to a point that is ethereal. Their harmonies and melodies are not necessarily straightforward, but combined with the dreamlike quality of their music they evoke a sense of melancholy and nostalgia, encouraging you to think of your own personal past life experiences. Without sounding too soppy or pretentious, you get the impression that this is a band that wants you to genuinely ‘feel’ the music along with the emotions produced within their songs.
