Hey there! We are starting out 2016 with multiple performances through Spring booked in South, South West and Central Texas. As many of you may know, we lost Jazz guitarist extraordinaire Bill James in the month of December. Bill took ill suddenly and within a week, he was gone. I will miss my friend and music partner of many years. Although Bill cannot be replaced, we have ween working with a very talented, jazz-trained guitarist from the Austin, TX area - Jay LeBlanc. Jay is native to Boston, but settled in the Austin area. Jay's jazz training is flavored with R&B & R&R licks he developed as a youth, working with his (drummer) father in the East Coast area. When in the Houston, TX area, I sometimes work with my Rockin' friend, Tom Hays - who has been a favorite lead guitarist, vocalist and fixture in the R&B circuit for many years. Jay, Joe & Red (that's me) will be in the Georgetown, TX area this weekend - Saturday night ( @ The Uptown Social Club) with a dynamic guest Blues Harp artist, Joe Frey.
