Birmingham Rapper/Singer Reeceyboi takes on 2021 releasing over 20 songs on YouTube. With his distinctive voice, skippy flows and deep lyrics he lets his true unfiltered emotions captivate listeners

Born Reece Smith in the West Midlands, Reeceyboi grew up listening to Michael Jackson, Amy Winehouse, Bjork, Erykah Badu and The Notorious (expired link), starting his passion in school having fun free styling to writing songs most days in his bedroom, Reeceyboi decided to take things seriously and follow his dreams.

Tracks like “Tellin Me” and “Rebound” was the start of his career were he went on to perform at open mics and intimate shows which lead on to Reeceyboi opening shows for Not3s, Stefflondon and StyloG. Bad situations and relationships lead Reeceyboi to become depressed, distracted and hopeless

After 2 years of no new music or performances, Reeceyboi came back with vengeance in 2021. Spending hours and hours in the studio, Reeceyboi learned how to record himself and became vocally more confident and more consistent than ever
