Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
United States, Florida, Orlando, Kevin Tyjeski Park- located at the corner of Rosalind and LivingstonHi Gang Once again I will be performing at the American Cancer Society's "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Orlando" on Saturday October 31st. at Lake Eola Park in downtown Orlando.
The event features a 5K fundraising walk, with registration open at 7AM and the walk
starts promptly at 9AM. Orlando's Strides event has grown to become the
largest in the State and the 2nd largest in the country. Last year's attendance exceeded
55,000 participants, with this year expected to be even bigger. The 2014
event raised $850,000 and, since the American Cancer Society is a
volunteer-driven organization, over 90% of the money raised goes straight
to breast cancer research. This goal is this year is $1 million.
You can join a group or walk by yourself but you won't be alone believe me.
Please come out and check out some excellent fellow entertainers along the route and SUPPORT! this very worthy cause.
