plug the guitar !

Yeah I can imagine that : inside a bar with some smoke, smeel like whiskey and a good old school rock band that is currently playing their music with THAT rock ! Yeah, you know it : good guitars rythmic and leading one that punch with the voice that scream perfectly - not too saturated - the sound of my soul ; good drummer and that jazzy bass that get the song more deeper. Really great song !

Excellent sound and very good voice

It is always great to listen good classic rock n roll in the melody and in the voice. Lately is becoming harder and harder to find powerfull rock n roll male voices and Richard has it! You nailed it!

Super review

The music is perfect. There is no comment on this song. When i listened to this song, it reminds me of my musician who performs the same style as the performance in this song. It's my favo. Best of luck. Cheers. I will send a link to the music performed by the musician from here in Nepal so that you can listen and it's a surprise to you that the performance style is a match up. Cheers from Nepal!!

No monkeying around

Fun song very basic and bare bones, nice chorus line, good bluesy rock guitar and the vocals work well with this song also I enjoyed the guitar solo licks, Keeps you interested to listen to the song nice easy straight ahead drum .

Nice guitar rhythm work

The rhythm guitar riff in this track is really, really cool. Perhaps the song was created around it. Drums are nice because they concentrate more on rhythm rather than trying to upstage the guitar riff. In the old days, this song would have been a nice B side to a stronger single. I would like to see it mastered to be louder or taken to a higher-end studio as I think the style demands it. Vocal track in nothing melodically special, but it fits the track as a whole. Lead has some timing issues and could be honed in a bit. Hoever, I am a fan of this type of lead because it is melodic rather than over driven and excessively noodley. Nice rock track overall. Beef it up.

Rolled that rock.

Rock vibe is right on point , the vibe of the vocals gives out like a ''i dont are'' attitude and it fits perfectly with the gritty guitar riffs. Garage sounding drums take you places , as you can hear the room they are recorded in , brings me back to days of burning gritty riffs in the garage myself. All in all , the song rolled its rock , hope the other songs will too. But I must say the bass line could use a bit more dirt on it!

Rock on Richard

The blues with the funky riffs that makes it grooving. It's always interesting when it's new,and fresh.very much in the vein of bands like, Texas shade ,and Paul kappa.but yet the more driving in the fact that you don't lose interest . Good luck Richard.

Monkies

This track is cool.It has an interesting blues guitar structure and all the other instruments flow well together and complement each other perfectly. The production is excellent. This is a good 4 star song.

I am a Monkey

Excellent tune, like be the vocals and lyrics, music is nice too. Sounds like something from yesteryear like The Who or something but that is no bad thing. Good studio recording!

Yeah - that´s good old rock! The introducing starts off with a rhythmic and very engaging electric guitar. The singer with his unique voice brings really a strong feeling into the song. The chorus is impressive and the pitch range varies. By the way, in this composition are genuinely well-played guitars including great solos in the bridge or the backround. The drummer is really cool and plays the rythm straight, making this composition complete. A real good studio recording! The song is definitely professional and very creative. Overall a really impressive composition from a very talented songwriter. I can´t stop listen to the music and I´m sure, you will like to add it. Let others know your recommendation.

Monkey Outake

good swampy rock intro with a blues vibe simple rock out blues good to hear some guitar for a change running through the song in some ways I hear Alice Cooper in the verses and guitar reminiscent of George Thorogood the playing is not overstated its tasteful and relevant to the track im also sensing some peter Gabriel references with the monkey theme I think there is more than enough here to like check it out now good effort

review of 'Monkey Outake'

a funky texas/southern country sound to the guitars, love it. Voice is a mix of Neil Young with a bit of Iggy Pop. Great track with a minimal sound throughout, nothing un-neccesary in there. The chorus is catchy and sticks in your head. Guitar work is simple and very, very Neil Young but done well with panache and style. This is an instant hit, or at least should be...one of the better tracks I've heard on here, polished and ready to sell.

Very nicely put together.

This is the kind of song that I think will be like marmite, you either will love it or you will hate it. Me, I loved it. Not generally the type of music I would listen to but this song has a great feel to it. The rythm seems to flow nicely, the riffs blend together well and the singing is good. The recording of the song is really good. I liked the lyrics too. All in all a great Job Richard and look forward to eharing more of your work.

Not what I'd usually listen to, & 'not sure it's Alternative (though, what the heck is?):

Helpful

Not the style I would usually listen to, so I'm not sure my feedback would be helpful at all. This song would be my favorite out of your three songs. 'Lyrics were fun & seemed to fit. Instruments seemed to work well for the song. It seemed a bit long at the point a "bridge" would break it all up, but it seemed like another verse came in & it occurred redundant (though I suppose with "Alternative", the option is to veer from the "usual", it seemed out of place). Just as I respected Frank Zappa, & heI hope this helps.
