About richard soucy

He is originally from Quebec City.
He started out as a guitarist and singer in a number of bar bands in Quebec, New Brunswick, Ontario and France.
Over the years, he began composing. He has written for many singers in various styles: country, rock, pop and progressive.

He has written songs for several albums:
He worked in the studio with Aldo Nova for Sony Music .
In the David Champoux studio for the artist Général Frank etc.

He appeared on the Télé-Québec programme Beau et chaud, hosted by Normand Brathwaite. In 1993.
As well as several live radio shows

Technical director at VBP in St-Romuals for 16 years.

Composition and project
Richard has done a lot of work for others and decided to put together his own album project.
For two years he worked on his songs with his friend Denis Boucher from Studio Onreflexion.
The Project:
the birth of Freedom
Richard saw a lot of information about war, children and human beings, and that was the inspiration for my songs.
Studio Onreflexion:
the songs were recorded at the studio in Denis a great guy a real studio engineers .
the whole thing gave birth to Richard Soucy Freedom
