Song Reviews
Vibes!
I like the originality of your work. Strong message and creativity is a big plus. Good production, I can hear some good vocals to this, good job on the final mix-down. I can tell you have your heart and soul into what you do. Keep on pushing and never give up or get distracted in pursuing the dream of making it. I like the instrumental blend of sounds with some vocals and the production on the track is good. Keep up the great work! Peace!!!

Keep in Mind
I would have said you wrote this almost 40/50 years ago. the style you played in , seemed to be a bit of mic popping on the instruments. The music starts off well unfortunately the vocals couldn't here therefore couldn't get the lyrics however the musicality was there, at 1.28. The song goes up beat and takes it on a twist. started to prefer it, then i felt this could be slowed and jazzed a bit then you take the song on another turn and slowly bit of beatles. and billy joel. the ending. nah not for me. where you go backwards still the song as potentially if you pick one pace and stick to it probably the. 3rd phase.

nice song
Am I wrong to have heard that you once played together with David Peel ? I'm a great fan of your music, man: You're inspired, the instrumentation is perfect, the lyrics come from your heart, ... And I cannot do anything else than assume that you are a very passionate and mystifying person. Hey. And that's what's actually needed in music these days: Passion and mystification, I think. I try to listen to every song you publish. And I guess you're not a fan of , what I name, " technocracy", right ? Well. Me neither... You're music is HUGE... but just try to work out the compositions a bit more ( maybe try to end the song with a fade-out ?)... 'cause I feel you're capable of being listened to... on the most-known radio stations. Thank you very much, man. Looking forward to listening to new songs of yours.

Unique Love-song
The intro starts on piano with main topic of the song. The lyrics feels like a story and come from the heart. The musican as vocalist and instrumentalist on piano shows also in his early years a great talent. But the whole song is more various. The bass accompanying and drums making the song lively. Imaginative transitions from the stanza to the chorus make the song complete. Overall good arranged recording and some will recognize the sound of original magnetic tape. Unique quintessence of classic rock and Pop. Nice track and it´s reallly worth listening.

Minding
Very catchy. The shift from 6/8 to 4/4 is cool. The vocal track could use some help punching through the dense piano chords. Probably EQing the piano or playing outside of the vocal range. There is innovation here, and it is nice to hear variation in rhythms, other than the boring chunky dunky of most songs.

Love the Piano
Just going to say up front that this is NOT a quality recording. Stating the obvious, however, musically, this tune is wonderful. I would love to hear this as an instrumental. It really is a lovely piece of music! The lyrics are ok. They get their point across. I think they could be stronger and more expressive, but again, the music is the clincher for me. I JUST LOVED HEARING THE MUSIC! I loved the change ups... The different flavors... Even that little tagged on ending... And the PIANO!!!! Those runs at the end of each stanza... LOVED THEM. I want to listen to this again for the music. You may have written the song for " that girl ", but you wrote the music FOR ME!!! I would so love to hear this music again all by itself... And expanded....! That would be a five star! Please send it to me if you do! Blessings on your talent! You really are very talented. I just have to listen again for that brilliant piano! In My Opinion
Greetings, Thank you for choosing me to review your work, I count it an honor to be included in such a task. My hat is off to you and anyone willing to step out and share their gift, talent and love of music to the public. Be it a musician, singer, song writer, actor and so-on. I myself, via 40 some years of experience in the fields, on the road, in the studio, radio, TV, video, and management, consider myself to be a seasoned musician, singer, song writer, studio-sound tech/engineer/ owner/operator, stage manager, find it sometimes hard/difficult and perhaps not even fair to sit in a seat, voicing My Opinion concerning another's creative efforts. Especially in certain genres of music I am not all that familiar with concerning very important elements that make up and meet the required standards to justify the various levels of ratings and grades. So, in saying ALL that, I will limit myself to MY Opinion concerning the quality of the work according to My ears, and the standards I have been familiarized with thru-out the years. I hold to the old - saying " Beauty Is In The EAR of The Beholder ... LOL. The sound quality of the recording of the piano over-all is very crisp and bright and clear, Consider adding some volume and clarity on your vocals. Try to EQ a more highs and less lows, they sound muffled and in the back ground of the music. Need to be brought out front. I really enjoyed the message in this song. Vocals are smooth and natural, sort of - down to earth as they say, and extremely peaceful. The mix levels should let me know who was still in charge of this song. Very easy to sit back and listen to. I mean no offense in any part, I myself take all feedback and use it as a tool toward my next project. I pray you feel the same way. Either way, I say to you, keep doing what you do, keep kicking and enjoying what you do. I tell folks all the time for many years. When it stops being FUN, then it's time to stop, and stand back and think about what we are doing, why we are doing it, how we are doing it, what we and others are getting out it. Is it what we want, and how we want it. IF NOT. what are willing to do from there? Thank you again for asking MY OPINION. Johnny

At least three songs in one?
Old or new, that's not the question. To me, there's only good and bad songs, no matter how old they are. In this case, however, I hear at least three completely different ideas packed into the three minutes, and I am missing sort of consistency. The three parts are following each other without a conjunction. Probably the lyrics would have helped to understand the bigger picture, but the lead voice is just not loud enough, especially in the first part of the song (which I basically think is quite good!), so I simply don't seem to get it.

Love the keys
Yes Richie I’m brought by the instruments and the track let me start off by saying you changed up the track just after the beginning and I didn’t see that coming, it started off so calm and I thought you probably was going for the quiet track finish but that change got me rocking to the pulse of the music and it quickly became a must listen again and again for me, you voice did it justice as well so do keep it up

A lost gem!
Wow, this is where the music wave was elevated, let your mind flow, compose what feels right and natural, and this is the result, let's get back to that era, pre-electronic and pre-autotune, organic and authentic. Thank you for sharing Richie. Fits right in with all the big names back then, and some now!

Good sound
The sound remembers the Beatles's time, but it's always actual. There's something to interesting in this song, from the clean voice of the singer and tge piano well- played. There's a country- rock background too.

RETRO ROCKER UPBEAT BALLAD
First listen to the original song " Keep In Mind" by Ritchie Hoffman, the song has a very late 70's vibe and reminiscent at times to something you may hear by artist like Billy Joel.Very unique arrangement takes you down some twists and turns as the song unfolds. Recording seems to be analog very old school tones and grooves. Thanks for reaching out for the feedback, your page is really nice and great presentation. Can't wait to hear the new album!
