Hi Richie. It's me again. Good song ! I consider it a bit existentialist, which is actually a good thing. It must have been hard to leave your wife knowing that you might not come back... This song is really good rocknroll: I like the roaring guitars... The quality of rocknroll is often to switch from tenderness to roughness and vice-versa. You succeed quite good at that. I like the swingy break. Good guitar-solo. The only thing I criticize you on is this: The song ends a bit abruptly: You might focus on the value of a composition just that tiny bit more. Still you surprize me in a good way each time I listen to a song of yours. Keep surprizing me please. :-)

Another solid performance from Richie Hoffman. I enjoy the classic rock feel to his songs and this one delivers as expected. The driving bass lines and vocals give a smooth ride to the lead guitar solo and gives you the feel of a live concert.

I really like the moving and featured base line. You use it almost like a lead line, and that is unique and cool. When you got louder and more intense on the "And I need you then, I need you here" - love it. Interesting chords and great emotional dynamics. I'm also a fan of the Instrumental in the middle/back-half. I've never been a huge fan of classic rock, but I really liked this. You can obviously shred. But it wasn't shredding for the sake of showing skill, it was musical. I think that's why I enjoyed it so much. if I could change anything, I would want some more specific stories in the lyrics to help tell the tale. But that's just a stylistic preference. You've got a great classic rock love ballad here.

Richie Hoffman sings a song called here I Stand. It is a laid back melody, nice regular beat, a little like the beatles, also sounds a little familiar like some other male voices I have heard before. Relaxing, moody and a song with feeling. Nice classic rock song, a little gentler and laid back for most of the song, except for when you hit the middle of the song , a real rock part .

"Here I Stand" by Richie Hoffman is one AWESOME track!!! The vocal is excellent, the song is excellent,and the musicianship is truly awesome. The production is so full and high quality. A similar production that I strive for whenever I am recording. This is one beauty that you can listen to over and over again!

I can relate, my fiance is a captain in the Us airforce, he experienced the ambush in Niger in 2017. This year he's gonna separate and go back to the States while I will remain in Italy, because we both have dreams to fullfill on our own. I'm preparing myself to separate from him, so I can relate with this song a lot, and it brought tears into my eyes. It's a very felt song, I can feel you love her so much! The tune is catchy and the words worm the heart.

Great song! Starts off like a classic singer songwriter song and then takes you on an incredible journey. Track has one of the best solos (both drum and guitar) that I’ve heard on this website so far. Reminiscent of Guns and Roses, Poison, and Soundgarden in the heavier side of the track. This song has a natural great feeling. The singer's voice has that vulnerable kind of sincerity that reminds me of Jerry Garcia, which is quite a compliment from me bc I love the grateful Dead. The surprise strong riff on the Electric guitar with the different instruments taking turns is very refreshing. The drums are set at a good volume which fits well since the guitar takes a rock ride that gets pretty involved. Great tune. Good work.
