Punk vocal!

I cannot hear this kind of music in Japan. This band sounds Classic Rock music but vocal is a little like New Wave band. Punk vocal! This crossover makes their music so impressionable. Check it!

Seventies vibe.

Seventies vibe, long intro which is not adding to the value the song. now with the start of they lyrics, it maintains that seventies music vibe all over, and the vocals swimming in reverb. There is a dead for this type of music, but it is very limited. Vocals are very limited in musicality, almost an early rap attempt. I'm surprised at the mix, its like each instrument is fighting for the same space on the musical plain.

Real hard rock with a dash of soundtrack sound

This track is really awesome, I could picture myself in a movie while typing this, indeed. The riff is extremely catchy and very hard to forget, it doesn't even have a place to be here, it deserves to be licensed already on movies and everywhere. It sounds like a classic for sure! The organ solo is fascinating, not many do that anymore. It is a very complete song, and it's got that bluesy sound that make it so powerful. It is a song to be played everywhere, bars, clubs, movies, TV shows. I think this track is awesome.

Bop review

Here a heavy hitter song,I like the intro part with those powerful drums it starts off with a molly hatchet and early punk tones the guitar playing is exceptional. I can hear some Devo hints from the singer who has a really cool sounding set of pipes. Love that organ solo didn’t expect that but that’s very cool. Great arrangement producing and playing. This is much better to listen to then the crap on the stations. Great job. J bop

Amazing Rock

Amazing rock song! The guitar work on this composition is really good and crystal clear. The Hammond work on this is also astonishingly great. The mix has balance as you can hear every instrument on the song very well. The recording and production are also well done. I like the originality and rawness of the song and very 70ish. The drums and bass guitar sit right in the pocket and support the song. The vocals are nice and clear. Very good!

Fun Song

Really Kicks you right off the bat. Very good Guitar work. This song is a good mess of Pop and Rock. A little bit of everything for everyone. Good recording with levels of Guitar, Bass and Drums. Interesting Keyboards towards 2nd half of song. Maybe, the vocals have a little too much reverb, but other than that. Really good solid sound. Best Wishes. Keep Rocking! Sincerely Edward Westbrook

Louisiana Midnight review

This is a very cool song you've written. It has a vibe very reminiscent of classic acts from the '70's with the B3 and rockin' guitar solos. I would suggest that you take it back and remix your vocals to get them out there a little more so the listener can hear more of them. As far as the structure, you have a good feel on what works for this song. It's not the typical 'commercial' format, but we are all getting real tired of the cookie cutter songs that are on the air anymore and are ready for some older styles to come back with more creativity, like this one. Keep doing what you're doing and write more of these. They will find a place sooner or later. Just don't give up. Nice work and good luck!

RIFF

I really like the basic G-F-E riff, played with multiple instruments. It's sexy; it works perfect as a fundament. Like the guitar 'interruptions' as well. A Hammond always rocks. But, Where is the melody?

Soldiers never die they just rock on.

I listened to Ritchie Hoffman's song Louisiana Midnight quite a few times and found that I like it a lot. The intro catches your attention and sets up the anticipation of something good to come then the song delivers. I enjoyed the bass line and its funky ostinato and the drums are excellent, the guys got chops. The guitar work is good and the song is good also. I would like the vocals to be a little clearer but it does give the song an alternative sound. Rock on Ritchie.

Midnight

One of the things I enjoy most about Number One Music artists is the newfound ability to hear music from around the world by singers who I'd never have the chance to listen to otherwise. That, in itself, is a great thing. Here, with this song and the passionate guitar intro, the song kicks off with a rockin' beat that gets you on the dance floor. Vocally, while fine though a bit monotone, there's something off on the production or mixing. Overall a fun effort.

Distinctive Rock

Sounds like an audio sample from a rehearsal. The band obviously enjoying to make music and that gives the song special moments. I really like the rock guitar, which increases the song with brilliant solos. In addition groovy played hammond organ is an extra factor. The unique vocals of R. Hoffman sounds spontainious and lively. Catchy lyrics, powerful drums and stucking bass-line make the music complete. Overall impressive track and good example rock music at his best. This song could be played in any bar and will rock the house. Listen to the song and I´m sure you will likewise add him. Let others know your recommendation.

You had me at Hammond

"Richie Hoffman" has sent me a request to review their song "Louisiana Midnight". I am listening through my speaker's on a I-Mac. "Louisiana Midnight" is a Rocking and grooving tune. All instruments have good separation and can be clearly understood. What caught my attention was the "bar rocker on a Hammond B3". There's nothing like the real growl of a "B"! Little disappointed of the lack of fill's from the "B" that could have been used after vocals pass and in and out of transitions. Seems to be the guitar player took advantage of them. Rock On!

nicely done

ok boss u asked either the right or the wrong person for a review because i keep it strait up. the music is fukin awesome. that old leslie sound took me by surprise. tempo and bouncey beat strait up killer. begining pretty deceptive to where the song really went. guitar nice sound. drums in the beginning sounded like he was gunna be wailing during the song but he didnt. i would of had a few more rolls in there. the only downfall was the vocals (FOR ME) just didnt seem to fit in. that real clean sound with the reverb not good. its a dirty song with a dirty beat it needs DIRTY VOCALS and ull have a 10 star song. just my honest opinion YOU ASKED
