Aloha to everyone who has listened to and are listening to these songs...Thank you to each of you for your interest...It is much appreciated..."Yesterday Today To Maui" was written quite a few years ago and does a pretty good job of revealing my love for Maui...I lived on the "Valley Isle" for about 20 years of my life playing music and riding waves...The song was originally recorded in a beautiful little beach town called Carlsbad, Calif. An acoustic lead and a steel lead were added on a a few years later at Big Mango Studio on Maui...It is one of my favorite original songs out of several thousand..."Invisible" Is a song that can be interpreted different ways and means different things to me at different times...It was recorded in Maui Meadows at Big Mango and I played all the parts...In the recording sessions that took place in that time period, I jokingly referred to myself as "Ricky and the Clones" although my actual band was called "Island Heart" and featured myself and my daughter Lehuna on vocals...Music is truly amazing and miraculous and I hope you all enjoy these songs as well as others to be added in the future...Much love and aloha, Rick...
