Then in the Chorus its liekit should be in a good composed pop song: The SUN IS SHINING WITH ITS FULL POWER! Really cool ! Beautiful recording of what sounds like a singer-songwriter? If not, then fine vocals accompanied by acoustic guitar, perhaps second overdubbed acoustic and a touch of atmospheric synth. At least that’s what I was getting in my iPhone speaker. All very professional done -recording, vocals, guitar, mix etc. I was getting an overall James Taylor vibe-however the vocals were not James Taylor like. Refreshing to hear artist holding back on extreme instrumentation/overblown production. This was an acoustic guitar/vocal tune recorded tastefully. Nice job on the tune by professionals.

Great song, many facets of a long gone songwriting ability from some of the greats. David Gates would be proud of you. Laid back and non intrusive in it's easy of listening of. Many overwrite to the vocal, this is just right. the late sixty's come to mind and even better than some of that era.

Once again I hear this wonderful voice singing well written lyrics. "Stranger in my own home" is a strong piece and with a lead vocal like this you don´t need much more that an acoustic guitar of course. If you want to experiment with it it´s a lot of ways to go. Just add some strings, and I mean real strings or you can make a big production of it. With this song you can do what ever you want, but a single violin or a chello on eight bars for a solo part would have been interresting to hear. What a great day this turned out to be. I get this song good melody.... Tells a real story most songs lack this these days. I can feel the realness it brings and heart felt lyrics... Emotional and a most listenable voice of the singer, I normally suggest that the inclusion of harmonies would improve but I think that this raw element of the solo singer songwriter comes over extremely high and I can’t imagine how it would have been made better.
