Song Reviews

You are on the right track.

You are on the right track, I really like your style Your harmonies are really tight. The music is very good especially the bass lines are very strong, It coincides with the beat like it should . Keep up the good work I'll be listening .

what up big dog

The concept is nice just sound a lil out dated. Beat was kool and mix could have been lil better. Sounds like and old disney song. Keep it up though it only takes one hit to make it and really get out here..

yes

The Right One review. this song is a strictly R&B piece in the highest sense of the word. everything sounds in R&B style as I said everything recalls the R&B genre. personally it is not my favorite genre but I can give you a musical judgment that is certainly positive because all that there must be in a R&B piece in your piece is therefore complimented and continues. good job

Hi again Rob. Nice intro - such as that sprinkling from a wand feeling when one finds "the right one." lol I don't know if it was me or not, but somewhere around the middle of the song were you having trouble keeping on key with the changes in the music? It sounded that way. I noticed that this song was hailed as C/G and R&B. Sorry bro, but I didn't hear much gospel. ;) Good song though brother. Blessings, Trev. :)

All the right stuff and amalgamations of tracks, nicely stacked background vocals , harmonies...There are many components to writing, arranging, performing, recording and producing a cut like this. Nice introduction for another great love song. I agree you need the right one and I found the right one thirty years ago. Nice bass part in there. The bridge is great and creative. Awesome stuff. Thanks Robert. DE

Good lyrics great vocals change the beat and you got something. The lyrics are very soulful hope this doesn't come across negative. Definitely need better production for your soulful lyrics.

The right one.

Great try! I’m not sure if this song is something I’d listen to again. When listening, I do get a late 80s early 90s feel that should definately appeal to an older crowd. The music is well put together and complete but the vocals sound too crowded. I find the harmonization wasn’t together at all. I believe an improvement on this song would be to simplify the vocals as much as possible. Overall great try, I do believe I can be better!

As right as it gets.

Love the rhythm, makes me desire for my man to hold me close and move o the melody. Your voices meld, and at the same time, emphasize the quality of each others voices. I especially enjoy the intimate whisper of the male voice . You are sharing a wonderful message to each person who is searching to not jump in to quickly by be open to recognizing when it is the right one.

The Right One is a Winner

The Right One is a good sounding soulful love ballad. Filled with energy in the tradition of Motown R & B. I enjoyed the combination of instrumentation and vocals. The Right One deserves a good listening too.

Vocals

This could be a great song however some parts sound flat. Some of the shifts from one octave to the next don't make sense. Like how you go from being really low at one point to really high. There is nothing wrong with doing that in a song but the octaves should match at least. The pros with this song are that it is catchy and easy lyrically to sing. It takes me back to the 90s when songs were about something. It's easy to see what this song represents. I appreciate it on a level that it represents real R&B unlike what we hear now days

This song is not only about the right girl coming along, but I think it is the right song for Robert Green! This is a real toe-tapper! The steady beat was right on, and all the vocals were awesome! As far as I'm concerned, this is the best song I've heard from Robert Green!
