A very good morning to you Robert and thank once again for the invite to review another one of your great Gospel tracks,this R&B number "FAITH" is in my own opinion a very good all round composition that has been well produced and recorded to a professional standard with excellent vocals and harmonies that blend very well with your nice melody that i found to be very catchy and your lyrics deliver a once again a strong Christian message i enjoyed this song of yours very much.

Today, music can miss the mark when one doesn't focus on all the inputs necessary to produce a quality song. Christian gospel is a good way to reach lost souls that are still in the world. The world need good music to pull them into the fold of Jesus. The arrangement took us back to a time where the fullness of new music was just being discovered.

I think Bass drum kick should be a little rounder sound. The vocals need a little more "tightening-up" or as we call a little more glue, especially first vocal part. Lyrics are pretty good; however, a little more feeling and emotion would help the first vocal draw the message across to the audience. Background vocals have the right idea. The overall mix is good, but again I feel it needs a little more tightening-up or glue to make the mix sound more cohesive. Overall pretty good. Hope this helps. I myself, via 40 some years of experience in the fields, on the road, in the studio, radio, TV, video, and management, consider myself to be a seasoned musician, singer, song writer, studio-sound tech/engineer/ owner/operator, stage manager, find it sometimes hard/difficult and perhaps not even fair to sit in a seat, voicing My Opinion concerning another's creative efforts. Especially in certain genres of music I am not all that familiar with concerning very important elements that make up and meet the required standards to justify the various levels of ratings and grades. So, in saying ALL that, I will limit myself to MY Opinion concerning the quality of the work according to My ears, and the standards I have been familiarized with thru-out the years. I hold to the old - saying " Beauty Is In The EAR of The Beholder ... LOL. The sound quality of the recording over-all is very crisp and bright and clear, I really enjoyed the POWERFUL message in this song.Think about a music solo break to step away from vocals for a short period in future works. Vocals are smooth and natural, sort of - down to earth as they say. The mix levels let me know who was still in charge of this song. Very easy to sit back and listen to. I mean no offense in any part, I myself take all feedback and use it as a tool toward my next project. I pray you feel the same way. Either way, I say to you, keep doing what you do, keep kicking and enjoying what you do. I tell folks all the time for many years. When it stops being FUN, then it's time to stop, and stand back and think about what we are doing, why we are doing it, how we are doing it, what we and others are getting out it. I listen to your song and heres what I think, It a very NICE SONG GOOD ARRANGEMENT AND VOCALS sounds like a a hit from the late 90s back when Bebe a Cece Winans were big on the scene. Kinda reminds me of Take6 the group Fred Hammond use to be in.

This gives me an old school vibe, it’s diverse and unique, it expresses artist like jagged edge, jodeci, and the fact that it’s gospel gives it an extra edge. You have taken many different styles and genres and combined them. Great job!

The song opens with a powerful and captivating intro... not too long - just right! The sound is modern/contemporary and edgy - easily something that could be played on any major radio station...The lead vocals are strong and clear, the drum beat is spot on. The back & forth vocals with the singers is soulful and fun to listen to. The song breaks into some nice harmonies, and then comes down with the vocals stepping out - well above the music. A great touch. The song moves along nicely, and has enough changes along the way to keep the ears and mind focused on where the song is going... nice places. The music to vocal mix is just right, and the dynamics from soft to louder make the song's well thought arrangement anything but boring. This song may have benefited with a short interlude, with a stinging rock guitar kicking it out, and then again on the ending some guitar licks in the background would take it a little higher. As this song stands, it's fantastic, a creative jewel that is fun to listen to and inspiring. This song makes you want to move, get up and dance and would certainly reach people who normally don't listen to most gospel/Christian music. Outstanding! I will offer a positive critique: pitch is essential , just breathe, sing it from the diaphragm and nail it. A little static in the beginning or feedback. I supposed that was planned. It just surprised me. We all need faith and we can't live without it. Your vocals are great and your singers excellent.
