About Robert Harshman

66 year old musician living in Benson AZ. I started playing guitar in 1975. I'm not natural at it. I fooled around on guitar till 1984. I finally took lessons for 8 months. I was invited to jam with some friends I knew at a bar called The Pub. I was a bartender there. We started a band and within a year we were playing clubs. This is where I paid my dues. I played in several bands that were fairly successful. In 1999 I played in a Blues band with Rusty Burns. This was the pinnacle for me. Rusty was the lead player for Point Blank. By 2000 I used my experience to start teaching guitar. I've played in Rock bands, new wave , Christian and blues bands. I wrote music for several bands. I dream about songs in my sleep I've never heard before. I started waking myself up and figuring out the melodies. I would take those melodies and add to them , writing songs and adding lyrics. Several of my songs on here were done that way. They are like gifts from the universe.
