About Robert Lazaneo
Robert Lazaneo is a singer/songwriter currently living in Carson City, NV. He began playing music professionally in his home town of San Francisco, CA during the late 1960's. Robert was the lead singer for The Sounds Unlimited Blues Band which played numerous clubs, dance halls, and music festivals. The band featured on lead guitar, Jorge Santana, who later on achieved recognition with the latin/rock band Malo. In 1973, Jorge contacted Robert during the recording of Malos' final album for Warner Brothers and asked him to write additional lyrics for a song that they had written together titled Everlasting Night which was released on the Ascencion album. Robert toured with many bands through the 70's and traveled playing gigs in Nevada, Wyoming, and Utah. He got married and left the road to raise a family and worked many day jobs to pay the bills. Robert released his first solo recording, A Funny Notion in 2004 and followed that with Sketches n' Stories. He also released two band CDs, In The Night- Sound Exprezz and Tommy Torpedos Direct Hits 2007 and 2010. All his music is now available on most online platforms, Spotify, Apple, Amazon, to name a few. His most recent recording is Retrospectively which was released in July of this year.
