About Robert McKenzie

Robert McKenzie has toured all over the US and 13 countries in Europe and has played with alternative artists like the Scorpions, John Doe, The Golden Palominos, Thelonious Monster, Robyn Hitchcock, and The Bolshoi. Robert's first touring band was with The Iodine Raincoats, and released their debut EP "I Wonder." In addition, Robert's band The Velmas released the CD "Stuck" on Universal's label in 2003 and toured around Europe. Robert has played all over in iconic places like Boston's the Pyramid Club, NYC's CBGB's and Arlene's Grocery, and Liverpool's Cavern Club (with HELP! A Beatles Tribute). Robert is now focusing on writing original songs and will be releasing them in the spring of 2022.
