Hi Friends, I'm recently in process to bring to life a new project with some great musicians and I'll be traveling to record and work with them. The project is not define in details and we don't have any composition ready because we want to go in studio and write together from scratch like in the old days of band collaboration. We have some guidelines though about the line up and the style we want to bring to life. In preparation for this I'm working daily on my sound, choice of instruments to bring and effects but I realize that I'm kind of wasting my time. Working on my musicianship is gonna be the must important thing I can bring to the plate and the sound will come from the fingers for the most part. Listening to all my favorite musicians and the styles of music I like it is also very important especially to define what to not do or compose. We're not trying to reinvent the wheel of course but try to do something unique it is the goal.
