I have been overwhelmed by all your personal comments that you have sent to me. I read every single one and always make a point of replying in person to each one. It really makes a difference to me when I receive messages from you guys! You are awesome. Thank you for playing my music and especially for liking it. I am honoured to be placed so highly on the various Number One Music Charts for different genres!
So the latest news for 2020 ....
My new studio album EDGE OF TIME has been released worldwide on all digital platforms for downloads and streaming. Distributed through CDBaby it is available from all retailers worldwide from March 2020. This multi genre album has music for all tastes from Jazz, big band, piano and orchestra, electronic music and an orchestral suite specially written for the album. The new album covers Classical Crossover, Jazz, Easy Listening, Film and TV Theme music, Piano, Instrumental; and also features a generous mixture of piano and orchestral music that is usually associated with the English composer Robert Steven Hunt. Put simply, if you really want to hear good music that touches your heart and soul then turn to this new exciting album!
Described as being "an album for such a time as this, pure brilliance, inspirational, stunning, you get transported to another place, uplifting music, such a refreshing break from the world's woes! Technically people have remarked about the great strings and blend of woodwind; there are lots of changes in dynamics and tempo, very moving and beautiful music, very powerful."
A great deal of work went into this new studio album, I am very grateful to my wonderful producer Chris Mitchell from Clear Sky Studio in Reading UK, for all his hard work on the production side including recording, orchestration and arrangements and for all the mixing and mastering on the album. This album would not have been possible without the expertise and help from a number of awesome musicians who also contributed towards this epic album including the Remix Jazz Orchestra directed by Stuart Henderson, Caroline Clack for her stunning violin playing and Liz Smith for her wonderful cello playing. I love the creative process and collaborating with other gifted people to eventually arrive at something that you are very proud of achieving! A huge thank you to everyone who made the new album possible! I could not have done it without you!
