About Robin Bessier

Trained in classical music by her opera-singing mother, Robin's musical journey was altered permanently from the moment she first heard live jazz as a freshman in college. She has sung in duos, small combos and big bands, in a variety of styles that span the landscape from classical and musical theater to Gospel, folk, and Afro-Cuban, but jazz is her true musical home. A prolific but bashful composer, Robin has finally made public three of her original tunes in her first full-length debut jazz album, Other Side of Forever.
