Hello folks. I'm between bands at the moment. In fact, I actually haven't written any songs in the past year because I was extremely busy getting my life together. While I have these singles out I've also been focusing on my writing. I'm not exactly in the best place to start serious writing anymore but I hope to resume it somewhere in the future. Read moreHi y'all. Robin here. This has been a unique year for me. There were lots of changes. One of them is I lost 45 pounds and my BMI risk for heart disease is low. Pretty cool. I guess it means I can keep on writing music and short stories. My book of short stories can be found at Amazon in paperback and e-book (expired link) Hopefully the coming year will also be fruitful as I hope to release a novel I'd already written and perhaps even move back to Nashville to continue writing new music. About Robin Ray
Robin Ray is the guitarist/keyboardist for Seattle rock/ska/reggae band MOON. When he's not busy with them he moonlights as a solo dance pop artist. Robin is from the sunny Caribbean isle of Trinidad & Tobago, home of delicious roti, calypso, soca, chutney, Carnival, jumbies and several other items unique to their diverse culture.
The first few singles from Beyond The Moon are contemporary Euro-influenced dance pop songs that wouldn't sound out of place next to artists such as Taio Cruz, Enrique Iglesias, Jason Derulo, Swedish House Mafia, Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, Edward Maia or LMFAO. The upcoming singles, however, promises to reference that Caribbean vibe with a few calypso & chutney-influenced songs.
