About Rob Roush
Singer/songwriter/guitarist Rob Roush is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He began in a power trio called, "Crushing Ground".
CRUSHING GROUND:
There have been several versions this hard rock power trio over the last 20 years. The first version of the band is Rob Roush on vocals and guitar, Chris Szekely on bass and vocals and Darrin Rathgeb on drums. Together, they released their debut, "Zero" in December of 2001.
The second version of the band is Rob Roush, Keith Uram on bass and Josh Walters (formerly of The Juliana Theory) on drums and percussion. They released CG's second effort, "Rite of Passage" in November of 2012.
The third version of CG is Rob Roush, Josh Walters and Sammy Brant on bass guitar and background vocals. They released, "Digital Vultures" in January of 2021. Each version of the group has had a distinctively different sound. Roush is the only member of Crushing Ground to be there from the beginning.

ACOUSTIC FINGERS:
Wanting to perform and play more in the band's downtime, Roush put together this solo side- project called, "Acoustic Fingers"... named after a college nickname. After releasing 5 full-length records and several other singles, the side project has become his main focus.
Studio musicians guest-starring on the various AF records are: Art Bartlow on drums, cajon, cello and percussion, Keith Uram on bass guitar, Dave Parise on bass guitar, Mike Rominski on bass guitar and Frank Tomisselli on drums.
