i love the intro to the bridge build and the hard hitting drums and guitar are great. the vocals are great and when they are put together like this the feed from each other work great. great production, to whoever did this master i applaud you and the back up up vocals are great. keep it up.

Very nice! Very rockin, reminiscent of Alice in Chains to me. Nice production on this one as well. Quite frankly, I dont know that i'd change anything. I like your sound. Keep at it.

Awesome, almost as good as <<To Each His Own>>! I really enjoyed all of it, you have a good intro, and interlude, thanks for the great song to listen to. I hope to hear more!

Review of Whirlwind

Everthing on this is well put togther and orchistrated. I definately like being able to hear all of the instruments including the bass. I can't quite tell if that's the pre-chorus or the chorus where you get that dynamic texture between the bass and the guitar. This singer sounds good, with nice melodic vocals. The only thing I would suggest would be become more experimental with the sound. It does sound like I've heard it before.

Hello, I will start by saying you have a great band. I can hear everyone clearly and the talent is there. As for the song, I know many people will really like it, unfortunately for me I'm not one of them. I will tell you why and understand I mean this with respect for your talent. The main guitar riffs have been done so many times before. Its like stone temple pilots met up with Guns n Roses/Slash and a few others of the overplayed guitar bands. The Vocals sound just like Bon Jovi. Unfortunately again for me I cant stand him, so take it how you want. I bet the girls love it! I don't hear anything really original in the song and you never know really if that's good or bad. A lot of people like familiar sounding bands so that may be what helps you sell it. Good luck with your music, Its defiantly good enough to please a lot of people I'm sure. Rock On!

Okay

The heavy groove is still in demand by ears you got that. I could only suggest you find a more original sound. Or you will get lost in the long shuffle of bands that sound like somone else. There is only one way I know to find your own sound. Rehearse and rehearse and reheasre until you disover all the original stuff no one else has ever done with a song. Led Zep, no way anyone sat and wrote Kashmire as it finally took form, it had to be discovered by reheasing, over and over and over. I never heard them say, its what my ears tell me.

Hey...nice sound. I enjoyed the mix, vocals were clear and a nice touch with the harmonies. I don't think you need the intro...maybe in a live set. Keep up the power. Good luck.

I always put this kind of music down to the death of Rock n roll.Great singers and musicians wasted on this kinda stuff.however to eaches own im sure you guys could fair a lot better changing direction a bit.G luck.

my review...

i've never understood this type of music, or song... i guess it's supposed to sound tough, or macho... but there's no soul... nothing about it makes me want to move or groove to... it's not hitting me on an intellectual level... it does have some heart... but, unfortunately, that's not enough... maybe someone could tell me the proper drug/alcohol mix one should be on to enjoy this... boo.

agree with wathenclan - needed some more lead guitar earlier, and the intro is a nice effect but doesnt really belong with the song. use it within the song, once the energy is up. Other than that, great power. Still waiting for a sirring lead, but its not happening, even just a few bars. the rythym is good . The ending doesnt cut it, randybecker - venture records

Review of "Whirlwind"

This track is well recorded! I also am not sure how well the bomb intro translates to the rest of the song, the drum intro was not only great but sufficient. Very pop/catchy vocals and old school jamming style guitar riffs soaring over the easy breathing drum style. The bass sound is really well executed and compliments the songs very well. This song sounds like it belongs on the radio!

Review of "Whirlwind" by Magdalene's Revival

I thought the intro was a little over the top and unnecessary, especially the bomb explosion. Sound effects at the start of a song? A big no no! With that said, the track was really good for this genre, tight drums and great bass (could have been louder in the mix) gritty and well balanced lyrics and vocals with good harmonies on the chorus' accompanied by some good guitar solo playing. Very professionally done. Good job boys!

Superb, fellows! You guys did a great job on this song. The vocals work perfectly for this style of music. The singer sounds like Jon Bon Jovi and Trent Reznor put together to bring out a powerful, melodic sound. I can see you guys going places. This recording was so well done that not only do I want to but I have to give you guys 5 stars. Keep up the awesome work!

Interesting ... the intro keeps one guessing - where is this leading to? ....only to be crushed (in a good way) by a full-on heavy rock wall of sound. Love the Rickenbacker sounding bass (Is that a Rickenbacker?) Strong vocal, light and shade and overall good musicianship. Take no prisoners type of attitude from the band.

Nice arrangement and nice rock tune. So keep on doing the great work. Big UP

Like the intro, the vocals are real good. Players are great. I kept waiting for a lead, or bridge, and the volume dropped out in the middle of the tune. I can only hope it was because of the internet! Song was decent overall, but I think it needs a lead or a little something more to put it over the top! Keep on Rockin!
