Song Reviews

Good feeling, good song.

We have all listened to an album or an artist that we want to talk about, either because it has revealed a new world to us with its melody, because it has put into notes those things that we would never have been able to capture in words, because it has made the soundtrack of some stage of our lives, Whatever the reason, there will always be the urgency of telling a piece of music. Whether you are an expert or someone who is going to write your first music review, your song is very good. I send you my congratulations.

Sounds good

I liked this song. It has an Alice In Chains feel to it with the layered vocal tracks. Overall it has a great sound, good recording during tracking, mixing, and mastering. The recording sounds like it's recorded on professional equipment and arranged really well. If you guys aren't signed yet, it wouldn't be long before you are. Great job guys, keep up the good work !

Rockin Rob Wright's "The Walk"

Upon your first listen to "The Walk" by Rockin Rob Wright (of Caribou, Maine in the United States) - you cannot help but be deeply impressed by the musicianship, inspiration and production sensibilities this fine artist possesses. While the musical influences are evident, it is not obvious in a distracting sort of way - it's more like, very well conceived tributes. Highly recommended, looking forward to hearing more!

Vibes!

I like the originality of your work. Strong message and creativity is a big plus. Good production, I can hear some good vocals to this, good job on the final mix-down. I can tell you have your heart and soul into what you do. Keep on pushing and never give up or get distracted in pursuing the dream of making it. I like the instrumental blend of sounds with some vocals and the production on the track is good. Keep up the great work! Peace!!!

Walk Proud Rob!

One of the things I enjoy most about Number One Music artists is the newfound ability to hear music from around the world by singers who I'd never have the chance to listen to otherwise. That, in itself, is a great thing. Here, with this song the masterfully powerful guitars overlap the rockin' vocals for Rockin Rob. Sometimes in a hard rock song, this is exactly what you need, though I'd like to see the levels raised for Rob's efforts.

Excellent work

This work has exceptional musicianship and a fabulous guitar sound. I have nothing negative to say about the music itself, it rocks. As a form of constructive criticism, however, and I hope you take this in a positive way. Obviously you are a great guitarist and you have an amazing tone, however, as many guitarists do tend to boost the hell out of the guitar in the mix (its a natural urge), I can hear the vocals, but the guitar work is over bearing on them, they are hard to make out, but I can definitely hear the professionalism in them. Back that guitar fader down a notch, and make sure the vocals are always out front and clear, this is especially essential if you were to pitch the track to an A&R rep for review. They tend not to care so much about the instrumental part as they do about hearing the vocal lines, even if the mix is terrible. They want to hear your voice. Other than that, you get 5 stars from me buddy. Good job overall. Perhaps you can bring down that massive guitar down and leave the vocals where they are at? Like I said, LOVE your guitar tone, but I also like your singing, which seems just not present enough in the mix. Take care and God bless man.

Very nice heavy tune!!!!

I like the leading guitar chords and the style of it's setup. What I miss is a kick-ass solo and a bridge - just to give the song more options. The length is pretty good. I would set up the bass a little bit louder - could need a bit of presence. Main voice is well in foreground and the parts with choir are well arranged and presenting these parts exactly. Overall - I like it a lot.

Dig it!

Nice recording! I like the music style, kind of a funk rock with great guitar, good beat, nice flow. Good job! Vocals sound good, maybe getting a little lost in the music? Perhaps a bit more level on the vocals. Good singing voice, fits the music style, good lyrics.

Rocks

So glad to hear something that rocks. Good beat good backbeat, and I like the vocals telling it like it is, although I think the vocals could be a bit more out front. The guitar takes a nice walk without getting too complicated which is refreshing, because staying in the pocket of the groove always has a better outcome. I hope this song gets you some good attention, it deserves it. Keep Rockin'!

The Walk review

This song starts out with really good, strong rock guitar that sets the listener up for a classic song. And this one does just that. You have excellent guitar tracks and a driving drummer pushing the song forward. The biggest problem with this submission is that you only send in part of the song. To give you an honest review, I would have enjoyed hearing the song from start to finish. It all sounds good but please submit a song in its entirety the next time. Good luck in the future!

Nice flow

Great guitar sound and intro. Nice grove also. The vocals sound good with a fitting melody, full and they fall into the mix well. Well produced good to hear quality Hard Rock circulating. Would like to hear more in the future.

Solid Hard Rock with hints of Chains

Ripping guitar starts of the song with an 80s metal sound. Solid harmonies remind me a little of Alice & Chains. This has good song structure, production value & a solid solo at the climax of the song.

Chitarre distorte

Sweet

Great production. Love the guitar sounds and playing! Lead Vocals could have been a little louder. The lyric are hard to heard because of that. I do like the chord changes though. Good job overall!

Bop review

Here’s a really cool song, this is a true rocking song. Can’t help but notice I hear the influence of stone temple pilots. I like the instrumentation, arrangement, engineering, and production. This is a very good professional song.I like the length and message the artist performing the track. The thing I like the most is that is completely raw and grungy, you just don’t hear songs like this these days, anyway good luck with the tune and keep on rocking.

Not a bad song

Thank you for requesting a review. As always., this is just one mans opinion. The song itself was decent but the production is not very good and it shows. The vocals are a bit hard to make out and are not that great. The solo is also a bit hard to hear. When you are putting your stuff "out there," you should always put your best foot forward. I'm not sure that this would make it into rotation on many radio radio stations, if any at all. They get a ton of music and the selected tracks are usually radio quality. All the best.
