Here goes...never done anything like this before....eek!

　

Thank you dears for subscribing to my page - we are 40 strong and come from some fabulous places from all over the United States of America, with honourable mentions for Australia, Canada, Belgium, Luxembourg, Sweden, Russia, Germany and the good ol' UK

And a shout out to Irma from Michigan for getting in touch in the first place with some nice words about For Lovers and a suggestion I should set up a #1 page - so I put For Lovers on here for her.

　

I've had some questions about what else I've done. In short, I made one album - google Rod MacKenzie Bandcamp

and voila - you can give it a listen.

Thanks for the nice messages about Til I See You Again. A song of mine which nearly made it onto an ad on USTV a few years back. Made it onto a shortlist, but alas - that's as far as it went. I wanted to use the ad as a means to get my album out in the US - errr nope. But at least it's got a home now.

The other 2 songs on here were just done for leisure really - part of a ragged assortment of cover versions that was sorta going to be my 'Pin Ups' - to be called "Say Hello To Yesterday". Most of the songs weren't properly completed - eg Italian Girls never got its piano or its backing singers, but they're kinda enjoyable as they are...

In the next couple of weeks, I'll buy #1s package so I can add more of them on here over time.

Wee story about Italian Girls....a good while ago I read a magazine article where people wrote in with their favourite misheard lyrics. Someone wrote in with:

"I was feeling kinda silly when I stepped in some Caerphilly"

That's what I thought it was too! But as the article said, the actual line is

"When up stepped some unkept filly"

So for a giggle, on my cover of it, I used the former (stepping in Welsh cheese is much sillier!)

　

What I'm doing now? I came back up to Scotland last year, and I've started recording - 5 in the works so far - a bit of work still required to get any of them anywhere near ready to mix. Maybe an EP ready towards the end of the year....?
