I started playing guitar right around my first day of high school. After about 2 lessons, I learned how to tune the guitar and that was all I needed. I am 100% self taught and learned EVERYTHING by EAR-I listening and figured out all the songs and solos etc and practiced about 5 hours EVERY DAY through high school. Early on it was Van Halen, Randy Rhoads, Rush, jazz band in h/s as well as classical guitar-also completely by ear-stuff like Petite Etude (Triumph), Dee (Rhoads) Broone’s Bane(Lifesom) and a handful of old classical stuff-Bach’s Baroque in Eminor & Chacon in Dm-Segovia version, Malagueña-Chet Atkins version..So I’ve played many types/styles of playing save jazz which I’m just “OK” at. My best strength lies in my compositional skills. Many can ppl can shred like mad.. but the majority of them couldn’t compose a decent song of their lives depended on it. I’ve written upwards of at least 100 songs , aside from the instrumentals on here, I've got around 40+ other instrumentals, plus about 50 more rock vocal songs, about 30 “sophisticated pop” songs, and I’ve been working on my progressive rock/metal masterpiece called “The Brooding Earth” a dystopian rock opera of about 30 tracks give it (expired link)’m gonna try to recruit/convince James Durbin to do some of the vocals that-so if by chance anyone knows him —lol—plz let me know! I am NOT in this for $. My dream is to SHARE all of my music for FREE- as my dream is that anyone & everyone may hear my creations and if I can somehow be able to have as many people as possible to hear and experience my music, and hopefully become moved by it as much as I have been moved by the experience of creating it. And of course id love to get a group together to capture a live experience of it someday-even if it comes to have other great musicians coming together to do it. I have what I feel are a great many songs that ppl would love. I pray that SOMEHOW I will be able to bring as many of them as possible to life, in order to achieve the ultimate goal.
