Hi All, This is a vocal adaptation of Oscar Peterson’s arrangement of the Harold Arlen classic. If you listen to Oscar’s version you’ll immediately note the tempo difference. I maintain that it’s physically impossible to articulate lyrics at that speed. I’m only human, after all! Also, aficionados will note the absence of the verse. Well, take a listen to Oscar’s ‘Shout Chorus’ (ending). I mangled Ted Koehler’s lyric for the verse to create a vocalese fit for said Chorus ending. Still with me? Either way, ‘hope you enjoy it.
