Sometimes it is best to just reach beyond your potential and just see what might happen. You have to get to a place in your life, career, and relationships where you must test the waters to see where you are in life, but when it comes to music, this is where I am now:
I have been chasing that neon rainbow for many years, but often, I caught myself jamming out to a lot of Rock songs, and contemporary songs. As a believer in Christ, I often would listen to Christian Rock, or Christian Contemporary music, singing right along with them quite often. Well.... I got caught one day! A couple of my friends said, "Hey Roger, why aren't you doing that music instead of Country?" I said, "Why do you ask that?" They said to me, "Because you 're pretty good at it, and we think you ought to open up more and share it with the world!" So...I gave it some thought and said to myself, "Why not?"
So...I am going to be working on some other material besides just Country-style music. I want to do this just to share my heart and soul with you all. I want to "color outside the lines" of this kaleidoscope called genre, and really see how I would be received as an artist and creator in other genres as well as just Country itself. It'll be fun, and I look forward to it. I almost have my studio up and going, so before too long, I will have something up, even if it is a rough draft. I don't know about y'all, but this COVID thing is driving me crazy! There were plans to travel and check out Branson or Nashville this summer, but that's pretty much not going to happen. I hope and pray that this will all pass soon, but I really think it won't until after the election nonsense is over. I often wonder if all of this is a hoax or not. I see so many resources that point to, "Yes it is." But then, a person has to be careful too. So what does a person do, am I right? Now that we're finally settled in, and things are smoothing out as far as the move, unpacking boxes, and establishing my medical teams, we are ready to go. I hope to be setting up the studio again soon, and getting back to recording and writing again.

Hey, it's good to be back home again! Oklahoma, that is! Northern Michigan is beautiful and a great place to be, but to live? We decided that we wanted to be with our families back in our home state of Oklahoma. But now... it is time to get back in the studio and get back to work!

Roger Vierra is a Recording Artist/Songwriter from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He started out from humble beginnings and has been emerging as one of the most engaging and talented Singer/Songwriters of today. When he hit the music scene, he was barely out of High School with already a handful of medals, honors, and awards for his vocal ability. He began songwriting when he started in college, and joined BMI Songwriters' Assn. in 1995 as an Independent Songwriter.
