I know it's a longtime coming. Through my illness, I promised I would remaster and release these songs that have been long out of print. Here I present "It Was Me" from Childhood's Fading Dream. It's about always being that shoulder to cry on and being there to pick up the pieces even though my love for these women was deep and eternal while me being so afraid to express my real feelings had such a hard time expressing it except through a song. I sure hope that you enjoy it and maybe recognize a part of you inside. Love you all with all my heart! - Ron Cederlund 5/3/2022

Hello Friends/Listeners! I want to thank everyone who has stumbled upon my music here at n1m. I know that I have been on the quiet front for some time. Truth is that I have been quite ill. But the music creation process never fades away. Nor do the dreams, memories, friendships, and lives we touched somewhere along the way. It is a reality now to me that I will never be hitting the road or the stage again but that has not dampened my spirit because the spirit is the driving force behind the music. I do realize that I have only given you a slight taste of my music so far. I plan to remedy that! I am going to start posting all of my songs from all of my albums. I hope that in them you may find that the story that I am telling brings you to a place of bliss, or open a door to an idea you may have. Maybe they can help you through a tough time in your life which many of these songs were my only way of expressing what was on my mind, good, bad, happy, and sad. Till we meet again friends, stay safe, stay strong, and play nice to each other. I love you with all of my heart! - Ronald D. Cederlund

I'll start by saying THANK YOU for listening and checking out my songs. You have all been a blessing to me so far and your words carry me farther than you can ever imagine. I wanted to post some new songs on here but I just wanted to be sure that everyone got a chance to hear these ones first. If you are wanting to hear BRAND SPANKIN' NEW MUSIC from me now, my band is called Calling London. We've been rocking since 1996 and have released 3 albums. We have taken and developed our sound from all of our musical heroes and influences from the 70's, 80's and beyond, but I always felt that we leaned very heavy towards New Wave, Goth, Synth, Rock and British Invasion. You can always find us hanging out in the punk back ally's like CBGB's (One can wish), but honestly (expired link) or www.n1m.com/callinglondon to add us to your setlist or if you're really finding yourself turning that volume knob level higher and higher and you can't get that bassline or hook out of your head than our album is for sale on Apple Music (expired link) or Spotify, Amazon, Deezer, YouTube, and just a bunch of other EXTREMELY COOL digital music places to park your hat or your caboose. Now my clock says 10:(expired link). and the day is winding away and as the midnight blue peaks in the window I am in the reality that the Dreamtime is upon us once again. As sleep soon will set in to each one of us, I wish YOU Peace, Happiness, freedom from illness, pain and a song to heal the soul.

I hope that every one of you are doing well and staying healthy. That is of utmost importance. I want to apologize for not writing a newsletter earlier but things get in the way of progress so often. John Lennon wrote "Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans". It sure has. But I promise that time has not been waisted as I have been hard at work co-writing, recording and producing the new London Calling album - Welcome To The Dream. You can watch the new video for the title song by following this link - (expired link) . I hope you will take a look and see what's going on. That is Steve Ott taking the lead vocals on WTTD. A very big thank you goes out to Mary Conklin for all her work on our music videos and photographs. She has a way of even making even 2 musical fools look cool. BTW, please let me know if you would like to hear a new set of songs posted to replace the ones that are posted now. I will be happy to, at your request. Well I hope that you find happiness in the day ahead as we start out this new day. Take care my friends! - Ron Cederlund 8:00am EST 5/6/2020

Greetings to all my mailing list subscribers. I hope this finds you healthy and happy. This 7th day of March brings everyone of you closer to hearing the new music of London Calling. I have dropped the song "Hellbound" from my page so that I can add it to the London Calling self titled debut album from 1997. It will be available for sale very shortly. London Calling's 1997 lineup was Steve Ott - Bass Guitar and Backing Vocals, Ron Cederlund - Keyboards, Synthesizers, Lead and Backing Vocals, Rick Sullivan - Electric Lead and Rhythm Guitars, Lead and Backing Vocals, and Jerry Rhines - Drums, Percussion, Backing Vocals.
I have added a song from 2002 called "Childhood's Fading Dream". After finishing up the "Fear" album with Steve Ott and our London Calling project, I had a bunch of song ideas and stories for the album of the same name including this one that was loosely based around the short story "All Summer In A Day" by Ray Bradbury. Of course it took on a life of its own like many other songs of mine and began to be a wish I was making for my 2 young daughters, Sarah and Heather. I was looking at what we were doing to this world and asking what can we do to save it for our children's sake. Would there be any world left over for them and not just a big smoldering hole. I was also at a point in my life that I just entered my 30's and was saying goodbye to childhood myself. Continuing on where I left off with on "Fear", my Uncle, Donald Cederlund, a professional pianist, producer, actor, and songwriter set me up with my first piece of studio software. Powertracks was a 48-track software music studio by PG Music and is still one of the go to soft studios we use for all of our recordings. It was the first time I started to utilize more tracks and orchestrations in my music. I always looked to Jeff Lynne, as a producer and songwriter and starting and ending point when recording sound.
Well that is a little about what was going in 2002. The year is now 2020. I am still recording music with and working with Steve Ott. We are working on a new project as London Calling. My daughters are both in their mid-20's and my oldest has given me a Grandson, who I have played "Childhood's Fading Dream" for. I hope for him is that he carries on that musical dream. Till the next newsletter. may you all take care and may music help you dream your dreams and conquer any anxiety, stress, and help you through any obstacle in your way. - Ron Cederlund
