Great beer drinking song! Pretty guitars and keyboards, heartfelt lyrics, great vocals. If like sad love songs you will love this song. Excellent arrangement pretty steel guitars. Good story.

Nice lyrics and solid band tracks. Vocals sound OK. However, the heartache the song is about is somewhat not mirrored in the mix. There is no dynamic at all, no yearning, no pain, no fire. It all sounds a bit bland. A fine soup without salt and pepper. Too bad. There is more potential in this that wants to come out and shine... Still liking the song and the color of Ron's voice.

This is a good theme for country music. The music is solid with good players and vocals backing up the lead singer. Ron Watkins brings in an honest and passionate performance in this radio friendly song. The overall sound is good for a movie or tv show if it's bright to the attention of producers in those mediums. Not sure if this is you singing, but I would suggest a bit more dynamic toward the last two choruses to emphasize the message. I say this because the message is strong and so the fact the singer is stuck in a relationship where his partner is treating his heart like a "stomping ground," I think there should be more dynamic in the vocals toward the end to stress the pain the singer is going through. Overall, a good song with a clear, strong message. I like traditional country more so than today's country because the lyrics were concise. This song has that feel. Good job!

Good songwriting! I like the way it starts and matches the words! It has a interesting chord change The second time through, it is good but maybe could use a repeat of the first and some repetition, to get your head nodding, but works! Recording quality is ok-good, maybe could be remastered or mixed but demo quality at best, good effort! Good song! Great writing!

I listened to this song and right away felt the clean sound of REAL homespun country music is in the soul of this act. Harmonies were excellent and used as and when they should be. Ron, I hear your call, been there, done that, I still have flashbacks to to when it was so nice to be in love with my girlfriend now my wife. I can hear your call and relate to what you are trying to sing in this song. The music is nice, slow, and beautiful ballad. You sing it honestly and it draws a person in to listen. This is a song that will relax the listener. The recording mix is very easy, instrumentation does not overpower the vocals. Harmonies are great. It is always a great idea to write about something you know.
