Roszunn
Born in the small town of Pinson, Alabama, Roszunn was raised in a single parent home where music was highly recognized by family members. There is a vast amount of talent throughout his family. Roszunn began singing for "(expired link) church choir and quickly moved up to receive the title of "head drummer". His mother and other immediate family members provided him with that extra push and support to bring his talent to the spotlight. Over the years Roszunn has been inspired by artists such as Prince, Isley Brothers, Earth Wind & Fire, Al Green, Rance Allen, D’Angelo and Kim Burrell with some old School and New Age urban music. At the age of 13, Roszunn began writing and producing music. His uncle Keith Ruff, (guitar player for blues legend, “Bobby Rush”) gave him access to his first productive studio where he wrote and composed over 100 songs by the age of 18. Roszunn has been writing and producing music for himself as well as other recording artists for over 10 years now.

The Artist

Roszunn’s first single, “Come Home With Me” from the debut album, "I am Rhythm and Blues", landed the number one spot on the UK’s Independent Chart Show, creating a huge buzz over seas and has been in rotation on radio stations nationwide, such as (expired link), Radio X – 88.5 and Starlite FM among others. The single is one of many soulful hits off the debut album which was released on June 7, 2011. The 12-track album has been recognized as “wonderfully crafted” and “deserves a place within the genre’s storied discography”.

His album releases include (expired link).(Living Out Visual Emotions vol. 1& 2), the immensly popular album (expired link). Signs Of Unconditional Love, released January 1, (expired link) the release of (expired link)., the first single release, “Rum N Coke”, landed a spot on the iTunes HOT tracks. Roszunn’s singles have tipped a new success for the up and coming artist by attracting international media from the UK including the UK Top 30 Soul Chart, amongst others. The album remains in heavy rotation still today.

New Releases

After a three-year hiatus, Roszunn released the full-length, studio album, Starlight on November 17, 2015. Written like a beautifully orchestrated love letter, Roszunn's showcases his vocal talents on "Time", heartfelt lyrics on "Time Machine" and his signature groove production on "No Room for You". Starlight also introduces a smoother, dreamy sound on "Your Milky Way" which has become a favorite among the Stepping Dance Community. His current single, "New Groove", hit the radio airwaves on August 23, 2016 delivering once again, his signature smooth production.
