About SADAKO Band

SADAKO was founded in 2004. In the same year a demo called “Papa’s gonna bomb you…” was recorded. This demo, filled with a mixture of hard metal riffs, over gothic and industrial sounds to drum’n’bass styled loops, showed the core of development SADAKO had wanted to reach.

After several line-up changes in January 2005, the first album called “Bedtime Stories”, which received critical acclaim all over Europe, was recorded.

Subsequently playing gigs in various clubs and festivals in Austria, SADAKO started to write songs for their second self-released CD “Hikikomori”. This album was recorded in 2007 and released in January 2008. In spring 2008 SADAKO was the headliner of the tour “tor [tour]” in Austria, followed by several festival gigs in the summer. Later on SADAKO had diverse line-up changes due to personal matters of some band members and the new band constellation was finalized in summer 2011. Many ideas for new songs have been collected and SADAKO’s 3rd album “Panic Transistor” was recorded in December 2011 by “the green fairy studios” in Gloggnitz, Austria.
