I really enjoyed the song fella. I do "Gospel Rap" now but I didn't always; so I can appreciate any music that has a positive message. Going from nothing to something is what I am about too. The beat is slapper and it has a 90's early 2000's feel to it. (When rap music was really rap music. IMO) I also appreciate the hip hop flavor you put in your music. It has a real commercial appeal to it. It sounds like it could get some real exposure. Keep doing what you're doing!

The instrumental is great and the message of the song is well portrayed. The flow is consistent, however, the hook/chorus is highly repetitive and in my opinion flat. If the hook had some more tweaking and made to stand out from the verses this song would stand out a bit more.

Like the hook, playful lyrics, groovy melody... easy review. I think I reviewed dawg a few months back on another jawn, so there is some consistency from dude in terms of having songs which are listenable and leaves the listener feeling that this artist could be listened to further. That's not a bad thang, considering the product being put out nowadays. So, let's wrap it up - safe to say homie has decent cadence and good music to ride to so I'm sure fans won't have to wait long for more from Sage. Anything less would be a long shot,

I gotta give Sage VI props on this track. Nice beat, straight forward lyrics, clear message as far as what he is speaking on. These are all qualities of a good track and it can only get better with more work. So I support the music and I say to Sage continue putting your work in and making track even better then the last every time you drop. I too am an artist so i know how it goes. Dude has a great voice. Song needs better mixing but I like it. Got get a little more saucey with the flow. I did'nt hear the actual beat at all. The parts I spoke on only need small changes but the song truly has potential.

First I would like to give my opinion. While listening to this song "Long Shot" it reminds me how hard I had to fight to get to where I am. Everyone around me told me that I wouldn't succeed because no one in my city could make it out so neither could I. I feel the meaning of this song and thank you for your contribution to the Hip-Hop scene. Now I have to be technical I wish the bass would stand out more in addition some additional creativity on break downs in the beat and vocal effects would have made this song even better. Although it is extremely important for the vocal to stand out it is not the only thing that matters. Automating instruments to raise and lower at key points will create space for the vocal pocket. Anyway great job and I will visit your music again. My review is only a review of both creativity and technicalities so please don't be offended because I actually dig the song.
