Song Reviews
N-somnia
This song title has a good rhythm and horn profile. Well presented solo licks with excellent accompaniment. Loved all the solos as they are well authored and performed. Overall good audio quality and content. You guys should be getting some airplay because your style and presentation is quite marketable. Congratulations to all on a job well done. As a musician I am duty bound to respect the author's content selection and arrangement as that is no easy task. Again...KUDOS!

It is so nice to hear this type of music. I love to listen to this type genre when I want to relax and clear my mind of all the confusion happenin' all around me and the world. The Horns, drums and the guitar solo are amazing to begin with and the song just floats you along for a 'great' ride. My hats' off to you Sal La Rocca, I'm impressed. Keep Up the Good Work!

It's 4 am and you know you have been there
The music portrays the dilemma and tension of trying to sleep and getting caught in that in between land in which we all get caught. As always the band plays professionally and tastefully with just the right balance and an easy groove.

Smooth mellow goodness for the ear and soul. A masterful piece of jazz music.
Upon a tapestry of syncopated rhythms various instruments dance. First the sax indulgently moves in and out, fazing with and around the delicate drums rhythms in melodious postures that create a mesmerizing melody made up of short repeated phases. The drums and piano then sets up a bridge that allows the guitar to enter with a contrasting and extended contour melody that is much more improvisational in nature. Here the guitar and the drums engage in a duet punctuated by subtle piano chords; the guitar creating delicate abstract musical strings. The piano then takes over adding new colour and further developing these musical strings and adding chordal cadences that give a subtle variation in texture. The original theme is then reintroduced by the sax that takes the piece to the end with a final cadence. A masterful piece of jazz music.

Perfect title!
This is a perfect title for a perfect song! I was wondering when I was going to hear a jazz piece in 7/8! Totally dug the song it just felt right! The harmonies on all the instruments kicked some major butt and the piece itself owned up to its title insomnia. I really appreciate the writing here and can't wait to hear more from this artist! Love it! If there were more than five stars to offer I would have given you 10

I cannot Sleep!
Well......Not sure what to write. I actually feel a little guilty being in the #1 position for Jazz right now with music like this on offer from your band. I am very impressed. The standard of musicianship is fantastic from every member. As always. I would very much love to collaborate sometime with you.

Same song title - Insomnia
Nice beat, Watch the beginning - there's a blip at the very beginning. The Sax (if that what is - or maybe electronic guitar) is too loud - soften it down a bit. Personally, I'd prefer to hear a sub harmony or a rhythm back ground in there too in the first part and last part. Nice bridge, cools things down to a nice groove - but it's a bit too long, the longest bridge should be about a minute, then go back to the melody, but that's just my opinion. A longer bridge with jam sessions is ok for live performance - see if you can shorten them up a bit - or put in two bridges! Nice jam with the piano, Maybe you should change the name to Insomnia Jam, nice ending.
