A Vigo singer-songwriter who has published 3 albums, has composed more than a hundred songs and has offered more than 450 concerts in various countries. Of marked cosmopolitan character, he has lived in Cuba, Argentina and Italy, in addition to his native Spain. Singer, guitarist and harmonica player. He has been awarded by INJUVE in 2009 as the best new author of the singer-songwriter genre, and later, in 2015, with the prestigious MAEC-AECID scholarship that made him the only resident musician nationwide at the Royal Academy of Spain in Rome (Italy) that year. He has also exhibited his work at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando in Madrid, and acted in famous places such as the Circle of Fine Arts in Madrid or the Teatro América in Havana (Cuba). He has collaborated with renown artists, such as Luis Eduardo Aute and Pedro Guerra, received classes from Quique González, and shared stage with Revolver or Javier Álvarez.

¡Aquí tenemos la fecha y el cartel!
Luego de estos dos últimos años sin giras de conciertos debido al covid, organizamos un concierto anual grande en un teatro de Vigo para juntarnos a celebrar al menos una vez. El año que viene recuperaremos viejas costumbres: una gira nacional de verano de conciertos por España, varias salidas internacionales (EEUU y Cuba ya confirmadas) y el concierto grande de Vigo, que será en el auditorio del ayuntamiento.

About Samuel Levi
He initiated his musical training in the Conservatorio de Música Mayeusis (Mayeusis Conservatory of music), located in Vigo, Spain. Years later, he moved to Madrid where he continued to pursue his academic studies in the University Complutense. In Madrid, he published his first musical project, a CD/book, entitled “Con mis propias manos” (with my bare hands).
He has shared stage with some of the most renowned singer-songwriters of the called “new generation”: Pedro Guerra and Javier Álvarez among others. He has taken musical lessons with Quique González. In 2003, he published his first album studio entitled Turno de noche (night shift), selling out its first edition of more than 1000 copies.
In 2004, he continued his musical training in the Instituto Superior de Arte de La Habana, situated in Cuba, where he resided for a year. He became the first Spanish musician to perform in the renew Latin American Centre of Culture. During his stay, he performed in the Longina de la Trova Festival and the American Theatre among others.
In his return to the city of Vigo, he ran a cultural charity project, in collaboration with the organization Amnesty International, called “La Tanda”, a weekly program which allowed for young upcoming local musicians to perform in different locations. He initiated a project called “classroom concerts” which took him to perform in different academies throughout Galicia. During that time, he gave numerous concerts, and performed in several festivals and events. In addition to this, he had a special participation in radio shows (Radio Ecca and Radio Voz) and in the cultural magazine Dot.
This young Galician artist has given more than 350 concerts; he was also involved in several cultural programs such as, “Vai de Camiño” from xacobea route; red gallega de música en vivo; plan cultural de la diputación of Pontevedra. In 2009, he was awarded by the Instituto de la Juventud Española as the best new author of Spanish songs in the category singer-songwriter, and he was the first vigues artist to perform in the Auditorio Mar de Vigo.
In 2009, he published his second studio album “Y tú más!” which won the recognition of both critics and audience. During the last few years, he studied in EMBA (Escuela de Música de Buenos Aires), situated in Argentina, where he graduated as a professional musician.
In 2015, he will be at Rome to record his 3 studio album after which, he will give a concert tour between Rome and Santiago de Compostela. This new album will include a DVD of a live concert and videos of the new songs. Together with his band, known as “los niños perdidos” (the lost children), he will take his music to all travellers who follow the path of “El camino de Santiago”.
