Sondra Watkins is a singer/songwriter who is dedicated to singing God’s word. She wrote her first song at the age of 12 and performed it for her 9th grade class. She began to sing in the choir at an early age and developed a love for the keyboard. Although not a keyboardist, she enjoys playing around with it in order to acquire notes that work well with the songs God has inspired her to write. She has participated in several choirs, quartet singing, and she was the lead singer in the Quartet Group Hollywood Gospel Stars. .She always wanted to sing as a career and after trying so many times she decided to leave it alone. Two years ago in 2009 God opened a door that she thought would be closed forever. She was introduced to Tate Music Group (TMG) and submitted a song and as a result, she created her first CD entitled “Let’s Have Joy”. Lilly Dean Music was established in 2009
She has a gift working with computers, which enhances her singing and songwriting abilities. It allows her the capability of using software like Microsoft Office to write and record her songs.
