Here's the thing...IF...my sound comes across professional then I must be doing something right (can take criticism).But I get an idea on a certain sound or song part/theme and work on it...play it back along other parts.I don't spend unnecessary time mathematically twerking stuff...just levels and slightly using effects,as I think it takes the feel out of the song ideas foundation.
