Dear Friends and Music Lovers.... I send this video to you with my apologies for not being in touch. The world events have just frozen me and I am feeling so very lost. It absolutely hurts me to the core what Russia is doing to Ukraine and her people. I try to accept it, but as the days pass and the climate crises looms ever more present, I just try to keep breathing and doing what I can to keep my spirit up. I wrote this poem in 2000 and Pam Purvis decided to bring it to Slovenia to create what you are hearing now. Her musical partner and husband, Bob Ackerman, wrote the music. She did a great job with the poem and every time something awful happens I share it. Since there are some really awful things going on, I share it with you.
