This for me is the greatest thing since sliced bread! If you know me, you know I love taking photographs of street scenes, graffiti, unusual visuals, flowers, and the list goes on. Over the years I have also been painting with acrylics and found objects. This all started "way back when”. Soon, I began putting my poems on canvas, pillows, found wood, construction materials, windows, recycled handbags, and other found materials. So... Here comes 2020, Covid 19, and everything comes to a halt. What does a jazz singer do with no gigs? She improvises! At the moment I have tee shirts, hoodies, facemasks, pillowcases, mugs, and a few bling type things. I will be expanding my line as the days go by. Since I am not a frontline care provider, I doubt if I will be getting the vaccine anytime soon. This will mean I will have time to create more designs! Even after things get back to normal (whatever that is) I expect to be finding ways to incorporate my designs, poems, and photographs into usable items that will serve a good purpose.
