Richie was born in Dubai on March 12 in 1986 from Sri Lankan parents. Richie possessed the courage, strength, and pride as a lion from childhood which was witnessed by close family and relatives. His family migrated to Canada in 1988 and is where it all began.
Growing up in Scarborough, Toronto’s east end, Richie experienced the urban and hip hop culture as a child. During high school he was a hip hop enthusiast and wrote his own rhymes over industry beats for hobby sake from time to time.
It was in 2005 when Richie had finished high school, when he had realized his inner desire and decided to make hip hop more then just a hobby.
In 2006 Richie released his first promotion mix tape CD (with the help of friend and producer thr) entitled “Can I Rap?”. The CD generated a tremendous response, which left Richie pondering his next move.
