Something special on N1M!
This song is obviously something special on N1M. Believe me, when I plug in my 200 dollar AKG headphones, then it has a good reason. Then I make myself the effort to listen more carefully, because I don´t wanna miss a word. This composition sounds great. Real good different acoustic guitars not only in the backround. Listen to the intense soft vocal play around the deep emotinaly stanzas, written and arranged with a metrical rhythm. This song goes to the heart and touches the soul. Well, if you are a music fan, then you´re always looking for good music. This song is not far away from normal radio hits, if you don´t care about normal 3.36 minute radiohit time. I´m sure you will add this song.

My first 5 star review.
I think hard before handing out five star ratings, but this song took little consideration. Excellent recording, amazing vocals, well thought out lyrics, great instrumental changes, tantalizing hook, professional instrumentation, perfect mixing, smooth mastering! What else can I say! This is a really great song from start to finish. I am honestly very picky about what I like. This song I like! I will listen to it again and you can be sure I will check out your other material. This was a priveledge to listen to and to write about. I hope you go on to do great things with your music, you have real talent!

Dramatic Irony
The dramatic irony of Scribe and Sage's Loose My Cool, is that it stays quietly in the pocket with a backdrop of comforting rhythm guitar and time keeping from the drums. That texture is haunted by the laid back yet erie lead vocals. The storytelling in the song, displays the torture of a man, who perhaps, is at the end of things looking back at wrong choices that seem to be influenced by someone else. And yet in this moment of reflection, he somehow is holding on to control how he responds to all of the things he's been through. A very risky choice of mood that actually pays dividends for the artists, because the abstract marriage actually works. This song could find its best usage on television or film. I could see it as a transitional underscore for The Walking Dead, The O A, Lucifer, The Flash, Arrow or countless movies. The storytelling is that compelling. It could also be a part of a new musical for the stage, as they have become increasingly more intricate with connecting emotion and musical expression with heightened drama. I could also see it used as a part of a video game. The structure of the song lends itself, nicely, to mediums that use vivid imagery. The fact that the refrain comes much later in the song, allows the lead vocal to paint a dramatic scene, that if the visual runs parallel or in contrast to it, it will only enhance the images. The cool tones of the music and the vocals against the compelling story of reflection makes this song worth listening to. Its simplicity in presentation makes it easy to listen to. Its sophisticated storytelling makes it unique, which is good. Scribe and Sage have created a lane for themselves that takes advantage of pulling together the dramatically ironic blend of comforting music with disquieted storytelling. That is something that is difficult to do. But they, have executed it well. Bravo!

Feedback
I normally don't listen to this genre of music your audio levels are well balanced. Just a little to sappy for my taste, but I'm sure you can aquire a decent following for this kind of music

Radio friendly Pop/Rock Music
This is an effort of a band to offer a melodic pop/rock approach to the current playlists of the radio airwaves around the world. The song has a nice production and it is suitable for listening in a lazy afternoon with a couple of friends and a of course a glass of wine.

Classic Rock feel
This track reminds me of a cut from moody blues about stopping the reaper but yet this track has a clean mix and you still get the just of the story being told also this track could be translated to a country song which is dope in the fact that I can see a lot of versatility from this artist.

A Review of 'Lose My Cool' - Scribe And Sage.
The song 'Lose My Cool' has a clean sound because of its neat arrangement and instrumentation. This means it is not too noisy and almost the sound of every instrument sounds clear. The tune seems with some layers of monotonous cyclic patterns repeating again and again. There is a lack of a strong statement of a melodic line as a chorus section of the song. It might be a good idea that the singer uses his voice with fluctuating dynamics. Same applies to other instruments.

Nice vibe
I'm not usually much on Christian music, but I really like the vibe on this one (Jars of Clay crossed with Sound Garden believe it or not). Vocals and BGVs are tight (and excellently in key). I would like to hear an amped up version some day, but as it is, I appreciate that the lyric is vague rather than direct. It leaves the meaning to the listener rather than trying to preach. The song can be interpreted by the listener rather than the writer. In the world of art, that is a rarity. Keep it up...

Nice production but hollow
Nice production but hollow. The song sounds good and the effect in vocals nice too. It just seems to ramble on without any changes and the lyrics are trivial apart from the great line mentioning a Gatlin gun! Not the worse song but a bit flat, for a Christian song though, this is probably like the Beatles.

Excellent!
very well produced! I can absolutely hear every instrument clearly, you had me with the guitar intro, and let me tell you the kick drum carries the bass so well, your voice is totally awesome, I could definitely hear your voice on any top 40, your harmonies are extremely tight and on key, very good original, all the way around very excellently done! thank you for sharing your wonderful talents with us, keep creating and enjoy our passion, your fan, Teresa Eden

lose my cool
nice sound. move guitars and vocals 5th tone (at the same time), for more psychedelic style. try to reach, sometimes, major 3th for the same purpose. maybe you need solo guitar in 'high' tones, psychedelic, no many notes, just crying, but not loud, while singing. perfect work.

Review of Scibe And Sage "Lose my cool" by an Electo addict...
Being new on N1M, I have just discovered the numerous demands(requests) of review. I have click on the various titles to be listened to. Every title did not last more 10 seconds, in particular those in my music style. After some tests I fall on your title " Loose my Cool". This time, the title is "produced", professionel. For the voice(vote): It is just, professional, beautiful, mastered well. Miss little of " shine / air " to improve with an equalisation in 16khz 12db ) and 7khz 7db ) Maybe a little "dry" (doubtless a "intimist" choice which goes perfectly to the composition and maybe too much in front compared with the insrumental. For the instrumental, he is too far and not rather clear. Level, composition and arrangement are perfect. I think just the battery is not highlighted by a real mixing. She seems in the kitchen while the voice is in the lounge with guitars and bass. Drum is also the most complex to be recorded . She should be mixed more " powerful " and wide while staying in her place behind the voice and guitar / bass. I am for my 4th listening in a row there and it is really excellent. Your music reminds me a French artist (on 2000s) whom I adored (Gérald De Palmas - Regarde-Moi Bien En Face or "Une seule vie" for drum and instu mixing) Here is a link YouTube, with the quality of recording of time(period). Good work in any case. I am going to recommend your title on Facebook (by desire and not for Billcoins ;) ) I'll also going to listen to your other titles and certainly subscribing to your page :) Can't wait to listen the release version with a perfect drum. One question (two in fact) Is titles mixed AND masterised ? Is it the release version ? You can inform me of the continuation(suite) and answer me by message. I also specify that my opinion is not maybe the one of one of your target listeners. I make some electronic music but listening of everything. Sorry for my English of small Frenchman. Have a great day Julien (from Paris)

Fluent and brilliant
Im' not here to talk about the Christian aspect of the song and the lyrics, but about the music and the way it's singed. About that, one can say it's very pro, guitars, drums, and all the recording is simply brilliant, the voices being also nice ones, with melodic and talentuous guys singing the whole stuff. As far as the musicla genre is concerned, we're somewhere between alternative rock, garage rock and Grunge , with a slightly Pop extra touch. Finally it's a very nice track to listen to, the group is on the right way... whatever it means for them :).. so i'll listen to their next productions with great pleasure.

review of 'Lose My Cool'
clicked on this to review because of the 'Motorheady' style image...but actually was surprised by what I heard. The opening bars, apart from the use of the digital effects on the voice, we're a surprise...doesn't sound like you need 'Auto-tune', sounds like you have a great voice with tone and depth, together with a nice feel, add that to your obvious references of musical taste and you have a good baggage of 'win'. Love it, the only minor thing I could say, call it a criticism if you will, is that the track doesn't really open up and get going...I realize that not all songs need to and this is a common comment from me but in this case I was waiting for it and it didn't happen...liked it none the less...cool tune bro...nice one!

Good job
This song is nicely recorded. I prefer more reverb on vocals and bury them a little more behind the music. That will bring out the instruments a little more. Otherwise, this is nicely done.

Something magic!
Interesting Song with a touch of magic, nicely produced! Very nice guitarwork, good singer with a distinctive voice. How could it sound even better? De-esser on the voice, a little more original voice mixed to the pitch-quantise/vocode-effect. Maybe real drums would sound cool. Bringing up the bass guitar in the Mix a little more could make it sound deeper, fuller. And adding a little "dirt" into the mix would make it even more interesting. Thumbs up, great work!

lose my cool
this song is very edgy and dark but you can so feel how this Youngman turns it around in the verse very melodious see I have to listen sitting with earphones on and sometimes I Blair it to get the vibe it was very harmonic easy to listen too I think he has quite the career coming up if he keeps up this trend love his voice it is different a little raspy which makes him sound sultry and sweet. the darkness you can hear in his reference to his relationship which makes it even more interesting. It is so worth the listen too I hope for all the best in his future but with a voice and a vibe like that no worries he will be just fine. well live love laugh Bettinna

Lose my cool
Nice instrumental at start of song. Harmony is subtle and the mechanical sound on the harmony works. Interesting lyric, like the bridge arrangement. I wish I could figure it out but ok. What was the message of the song about? I had to listen to it again to get the message. I wonder if he was upset about a girl he had with whom he a relationship that went bad . So he was wondering if he could actually move on with his life without breaking down. He was able get over her. He was able to stand up to her and tell her move on. He was fooled by her several times, ignored his friends warning to move on, leave her cause she is not good for him but he would not listen to them cause he was too into her. But one day he woke up to reality that she was not good for him. So he broke up and though would have felt some hurt or guilt he was no longer feeling that way. He accepted that it was ok for he to be upset sometimes losing his cool but he does not care, he is over feeling sorry or helpless around her.

The new R.E.M
Very nice track! It has the same spirit (musically) of "loosing my religion" by R.E.M. Very well produced and mixed, just one suggestion, In my opinion I think you should enphatize the low frequencies in the mix, everything else is great. Congrats!!!!
