I originally came up with the idea in the late 90s. Looking back I can see I was drawing upon the pre-Matrix sci fi of the time. The result is an explosive pulp fiction which is turned inside out by a mind melting existentialism. I took the idea of a dreamlike Utopia juxtaposed with the dystopic urban introduction to our Psi Ops agents, Roach and Gwent. This genesis then exploded into the complete story which I slowly developed during the following decade. Drawing inspiration from my own life and travels.
