So...Who & where are you from? -Im Russel Mutchiga aka Seltik from Levittown,Pa Now the name Seltik...Where did that come from? -My boy "Fresh" gave it to me cuz he is a Lakers fan & i'm a Celtics fan...so that's where that came from lol so plain. So Seltik... What do you do? Why this genre? and Why now? -Well I worked sanitation... this genre because I fell in love with Hip-Hop, I see it as hardcore poetry. Now because I feel my skills are sharp enough & as I progress...so will my music. Plus alot of new artist are ass cheek anyway. Did you pick this or did it pick you?(like you weren't wanting to be into music and it just kinda fell on your lap lol) -Well my voice is not opera worthy but I been freestyling since 7th grade. I chose it because I feel I can make a difference... Ya Dig!! In your genre of HipHop how has it changed for the better and for the worst? -For the better artists are more developed and educated which I love...ya know... for the worse... greed... artists are strip mining hip-hop it seems. Like Hip-Hop is more than money, people forget its an art. Who are some of your influences not just in HipHop? -Bon Jovi cause in the 80s they were raw lol. Queen... Freddy Mercury's passion even while being and battling aids, he still rocked on... Thats heart man. and being gay.
