Restores songs as an old classic car... Because of retirement, some of my previuos band the Rockfella's members went to live several hundred km away from the Lisbon region, which made the rehearsals an impossibility. Before the confinement we had enough practise to be able to organize a performance, and on the day of the show, just by briefly going through the songs together, we worked out the details and were in a position to play. After four years, a series of rehearsals would be necessary to recover our vast repertoire, which was the result of many years of rehearsals: eversince 1989!... We have more than 150 songs in our total repertoire. As those who didn't "emigrate" are eager to play, I brought together 2 of my musician friends with 1 "left over" from the Rockfella's in Lisbon. We call ourselves "ROCKET ROLLERS", and we only play songs that we really like. We started in late October, 2023 getting together to play just 1 day a week for only 2 hours. Our first gig was private, within a group a musician friends at a small restaurant and with minimal equipment.
