Marcel Sathyr
Experimental / Instrumental / New Age
From Santa Rosa, California, Jay began creating music at 9-years-old where he developed a love for all types of genres. Born in 1999, Jay grew up in the lower class area of Sonoma County where he was heavily involved in gangs and drug influenced areas. At 14, Jay perused a rap career heavily influenced by Tech N9ne, Eminem & E-40 & went on to release 9 mixtapes in 2 years. In 2017, Jay released his debut album “The Rose” under the name ‘Jay Williz’. In 2020, with a total of 6 albums under his belt, Jay decided to peruse a new genre of music and switched over to Punk-Rock dropping his first rock album “Welcome To My Darkside”. The album went on to gain 100,000 streams in 3 months all independently. Shortly after, Jay met Aaron (Guitarist) on Facebook and quickly formed together to create Dead Lxve. The band went on to drop their first single in September 2021 titled “Making Waves”.
Born in Oakland, CA, Aaron is not your average punk-rock guitar player, he actually began music by playing the flute! As Aaron decided to peruse music later in life, he picked up the bass, and electric guitar, and went on to create his solo rock project under the name ‘A.Moortal’. After moving to Clearlake, CA, Aaron then joined his dads band “Stryk9” as their drummer. Continuing as a fill in, Aaron decided to start his own heavy metal band with Ryan (Drummer) where they went on to perform together for years. In the beginning of 2021, Aaron set to go out of his comfort zone and create something more suitable for pop radio. That’s where Aaron discovered Jay (Singer) and they helped create Dead Lxve later adding Ryan to the band.
Fans of marching bands and rock bands alike can agree on one thing, Ryan is top of his class in all aspects. Born in Los Angeles, Ryan was influenced by his dads drumming and decided to start his own drumming style. Later moving to Clearlake, CA where he began teaching young students the art and craft of marching band drumming. After meeting Aaron (Guitarist) at a concert, they decided to join together and start playing in a band. After years of sharing the stage, Ryan later joined Aaron & Jay (Singer) and helped create Dead Lxve to be come what it is today.
