A&R review
Hey we review artists songs as a profession in the music industry, its my pleasure to come across yours, let's get into it. Your vocals are strong , very good on your delivery, need you to rearrange your vocals and have the producer mix the vocals and abs/ background vocals better there running into each other instead of shadowing around the main vocals.. Also own the song sounds like you have more to give but holding back.. I was looking for this song to take me all the way to the top .. Overall you got a potential record just minor work.. Keep us posted ..

I Like This Song
Sad, Haunting melody, but at the same time there is a dream like quality to this song. Sounds very uptown, tight, and sharp on the music. The singing sounds forelore, which I assume it is suppose too. I must admit, I like this Artist anyway. Good Song, but brings a sad mood while listening. Keep up the good work! Edward Westbrook

Seren Skies' Isn't New
With a haunting melody and electronic drum track, Isn't New feels like a throwback to the 80's. Seren Skies' lead vocal is lovely, but the melody is quite redundant throughout the entire track. An addition of harmony towards the end does shake things up a little, but the harmony line is a bit awkward and doesn't quite melt into the melody. While not a bad track, this song doesn't have much "wow" factor.

Voice
I think it is pretty nice. but at the same time it needs a little bit more pop maybe fluctuation more in the vocals. also to make the background vocals maybe a little stronger I think that would help also.

Isn't New
I like the song, it has a very good beat, this song reminds me of the great songs of the 1980's. This song is sung quite well and the vocals suit the song particularly good. Overall i rate this song low 3's which is very good in my opinion. Well done!

Aha! style
This song is very 80s style, I remembered right away of Aha, eletronic programmed drums, with synthesizer. The voice has sometimes unsynchronised moments and the pitch of the second voice reaches a major 3 over a minor chord, which is, for me, weird. If this is on purpose or not, I can't say.

Ready for TV
Surprising. Catchy drums. Nice piano. This is a song that would play nicely in a television drama for background music. I'd like to hear a little higher production value here, but overall it's a nice song. This is the first time I've listened to Seren and I like your voice!

isn't new
A nice blend of pop and rock , really like the time changes fueled by the pounding of the drums.nice vocals laid over top of a very nice finished product.A very somber song feel appropriately so considering the context of the lyrics.A nice touch adding the second vocal at the end of the offering.well done and appreciate your work effort to get this one accomplished, look forward to hearing your future endeavors

Isn't new review
Hi SEREN, Thanks to submit your song "Isn't New" on review. 1 / Mix and production : OK, the mix is well balanced. 2 / Music : Here it's very synthetic, no soul, a machine drum, a repetitive bit for bass and a piano not enough present. If you have the possibility to rework the song with some real musicians. Harmonic and melodic is very poor. Machine will not replace the sensibility of a musician. 3 / Vocals : Like another title of your track I review, the voice's stamp is interesting (like DIDO), but the singing is false on all the piece. I don't know if someone says you, but it's not mean of my part. It's an opinion to progress. A vocal teacher will tell you the same thing. I think it's because you don't master your breath. Sing = To know breath. Your singing will be improve if you master your breath. 4 / Overall : Musically is poor (logical with machine), but for me you must work the voice. Carefully : It's just ONE opinion (just mine). Good luck SEREN.

Great song!
I love how this track mixes pop and alternative. It gives me a throwback vibe from artists who were doing music in the 80's also. Very well written and produced song that tells a great story. I don't have anything negative that I can think of to say about this track. Only thing possibly missing is haunting harmonies going up a 3rd or even a 5th in more places of the song. Wishing you much success in 2016!

not too bad
I dont really care too much for this genre of music so its kind of hard for me to open up and really listen to it. It seems like this could be a potential song with a good video to support it. But i don't really care for the song. But to the artist, good job. Dont stop if this is something you really want to do then dont let no one get in your way and try to stop you from pursuing your dream

Ins't New
Your song is not what I really like, but it has something. I've listened it 3 times and think that I like the text and the melody. But the beat is not that what I prefer. Have fun and stay creative, best regards Newestage

Isn't New
It isn't new is quite apt as it reminded me of Kate Bush in parts. Seren Skies has a nice voice but this song doesn't really do it justice as the song stays pretty much on one level. It's not bad but it's not a chart topper in my opinion.

Isn't New Review
The song needs a complete overhaul. The music is dated and the beauty of your voice is overshadowed by the dated production. I suggest stripping all the music from the track, find out the beats per minute for the song, find a current track you like (with the same bpm), and put it with your vocal. Combine several tracks and edit them accordingly to find the sound you want. THEN, after you have found the music that works with the vocal, go back in and re-do the vocal to THAT music. It will make your approach a little different and lift the song.

Lot of Potential!
I like the overall feel of this song, drum beat is very cool and you sing it well, the mix is nice and the recording quality is good, I just feel like there is really no hook or chorus in song, chorus needs to be bigger and more dynamic, Song needs a little change in the middle, maybe you can add a bridge or 2nd chorus, adding a electric guitar would help too, I like that you added the 2nd voice later on, but song needs still needs more. Have a blessed night!

1980s
I have to say that this instrumental is great. The lyrics are a little slow for the song but it doesn't sound terrible. If you speed the lyrics up, it will catch up with the beat and will sound pretty good. I love the 80s feel. That trend has resurfaced and this song could contribute to its full return. Keep up the good work. I am a fan.

Nice spacey rock song
Very nice 80's rock sound.Takes me back in time. Love the drums and the chilling piano in this song. I also like the effects in this song. It gives me me a very nice space feeling. The song is well mixed and mastered. I couldn't quite understand the lyrics, because at some points the effects in the music were a little bit too loud and some points the words were not vocally pronounced as if you hold back the words. But it's a good song very nice music. Nice spacey rock feeling and brings back a lot of good memories.
