About Shady Banks

Shady Banks is a creation that happened in The Great Smoky Mountains of east Tenn. It all started in a little community of Sunshine in a small cabin on the banks of Little River. After a musical reawakening, frontman and songwriter Christopher Lovoy started invited other local musicians to join in on the project. Through multiple community jams and open mics the Shady Banks project came together, member by member. Their debut album, "Love, Mountains and Murder" was a self-produced album, all recorded in the foothills of the Smokies. That's where it started and where it stayed. Feeling it was true to the spirit of the music. From our holler to yours, brought to you by the hills East Tennessee.
