We have a performance slot in the 20th Annual South Bay Music Awards Show 2023. The show will be held at a classic art deco theater built in 1931 for Warner Brothers. Sept 30th, 2023 at the Warner Grand Theater, San Pedro, California featured Performing Artist: Shane O'Brien and O'Brien's Edge. This is sure to be a great show to attend for Live Music.
Let me make this "about you" section simple and real. Im just about to retire as a Union Ironworker, actually in exactly six months from tomorrow to the day. For a length of time that's over twice as long as my time spent hanging Iron I've been a musician who plays lots of Live Gigs of which there is Live Recordings of shows performed over 40 years ago. Mostly shows in Canada and the United States, although the is a cd of a live gig at "Hussong's Cantina" down in Encinitas, B. C. (That gig was too much man...)
Also, to complete the whole picture in the "About You" section: I should make mention of The writing/recording aspect. I've written my own music for almost as long as I've been doing gig. 26 CDs (all in limited numbers of print copies) and DVDs are spread throughout the internet. Some web location that feature bands video creations have 50 to 70 of my video catalog. Places like Fandalism and another called Soundclick feature both audios and videos. Ain't no big star but the music is an expressway outlet of the deepest inner parts of a musician's own music and lyrics.
It took almost every living moment of time to be of some margin of success in both trades. One in construction evidenced by being able to retire in good standings and the other in music evidenced by my ability to continuously play CD's for a week and not hear the same track twice. That's satisfying to me.
I wish that there would have been more time in all worlds of the past years to become better in the (expired link). world. Nonetheless, I was able to upload here at NW1 as well as Y. T. and those other .com sjites that I mentioned earlier in this section. I've use my personal name or OBRIENSEDGE after the forward slash. I like the Fandalism site the most because of the variety in my video catalog there.
So, there a brief description with a lean toward the history. I plan on spending some portion of the extra time I will have earned to bone up on the digital world to make it easier to share more of my music with others.
